After that proceed to the valley of gods and open the door
From there, create a party and head to the discord

Now head into the Combat-lfg channel and type "LF2 bossname"

Invite the people that are willing to assist you on the boss fight

Once the battle is done, we can proceed onto the next step.
Bossing Rules and Loot

So you may have notice something drop and you cant find the item in your inventory.

here is why:

The boss will only drop ONE loot for the entire party and the loot is chance based on the % of damage you deal.

So if you deal 70% of the damage, you have 70% chance of getting the loot.
From the image above, you can see that i got the Godlike Gemstone because i either deal the most damage or i lucked out and got the drop.

Now onto the important part: Sharing

Most of the people in combat-lfg operates on a honor based system and i will explain now:

The person who obtain the loot and is not key holder is obligated to share 50% of the loot either in gold or half of the materials. Loot allocation is according to KEY HOLDER wishes and should he/she does not want it then you may give thanks.

If the key holder got the loot, he/she is not obligated to share anything but if a big drop like the image above lands, it is basic courtesy to tip the friendly fighters that help you in the fight as it is a group effort.

The 3rd player in this honor system does not get any split but you may split some if you are generous enough.

So an example:

Meong (key holder)
Player A
Player B

Player B got a Godlike gemstone
Player B will split the profit from selling godlike gemstone with the Key Holder.
Meong can either give some tips to Player B or not at all and is fine.
Credits and acknowledgement
Lastly, the community is wholesome and is willing to help out but try not to be a naughty person and run with the loot, chances are you will be blacklisted from any runs further on :c

No offense, but these rules seem very crappy
If loot is 1 drop as party instead of per person, that's a development issue.
There is no way I'm sharing 50% of my loot in your self-manifested "Etiquette", that you're trying to push around to promote toxic community behavior.
If people feel like they want to 'tip' their party on their own, that's fine. But fuck NO on having it 'required' like this. NOT HAPPENING.

In your description at the end did you mean to say "Meong can either give some tips to Player A or not at all and is fine"?

@HaveFaith

While ur frustration is noted, this has been the agreed upon distribution since the start and while 33% each is ideal, it did come with a problem.

Suppose i bring a 1/1/1 combat account into the fight, am i entitled to 33% of the loot as well? would you have split 33% of gemstone price to this person?

the key farmer has more % of the loot because he did all the work of farming the key.

everyone besides the keyholder only has food cost to bear for a chance to get upwards of 6mil.

And this is just a guideline, u are free to make your own rules if u are the keyholder! the community has a bunch of different distribution system of their own so maybe u can find someone that is willing to do 33/33/33 and all's good :D

I have to say, having been the victim of this loot system, that your suggestion for loot distribution could be further refined. When you are in a group of three people, one gets a good drop (e.g. Godlike Gemstone), based on this "Guide" he has to give 50% to the keyholder and the third player is left raging out of frustration (you guessed it, I was the third player). Why not suggest people to split loot equally based on value (33% each), given this is a group effort and everyone contributes. I often hear that the key farmer is entitled to more loot, but I fail to see why this is the case given that if he were to run all the instances solo it would take forever to clear and would probably use more food in value compared to splitting equally (e.g. taking 33% instead of 50%). Please take this into consideration to avoid generating more frustration in the community.

@blackhathall

the profit will be based off the market item value

I think this is pretty cool and will definitely pin this for when I someday partake in this, but I do want to request some clarity: when you say "split the profit from selling godlike gemstone" or whichever drop it happens to be, should the profit calculated based off base item value, or an average of the player market item value?
