Precision stat does not equal to accuracy nor its overall aiming performance. High precision stat can still be worse in accuracy than 4.0 precision SG09R. Always compare the weapons through equipping and experimenting in real combat. If you are new and bought the dlc weapon Sentinel Nine, you might had been tricked into thinking Sentinel Nine having same accuracy as SG09R. They are apparently, NOT.

So what does precision stat do? Only the maker know.

Overall review
In real battle, most of the shots are not going to be focused aim due to its weak aim/move tolerance, unless you use trick like window camping or ladder camping. Laser sight exist to nullify all the five precision stat problems, so just embrace it and treating SG09R like the real pocket sniper.

Overall review
The myth has been busted. Its 4.0 precision stat is the biggest lie of re4 universe. But aside that, its okay in real combat with some headache. Capcom also generously given Sentinel Nine the compatibility with laser sight, the "solve all your precision problem today, with 10 spinels!". With laser sight, its going to perform exact with all laser sight pistols, bringing their stat the only difference.

Guess what, merchant's file note on Punisher is not joking. This is the most accurate pistol among all. Your shots in real combat is going to be focused shot almost 10/10. Capcom also given Punisher the compatibility with laser sight, but do you really need it? Save up 10 spinels and spend somewhere else.

Overall review
Surpriseee, it has same accuracy as Sentinel Nine whether its focused or unfocused! And Red9 is not compatible with laser sight, you will have to deal with the bloom, or never ever move Leon when taking aim. While no laser sight for Red9, you still have to pay 9 spinels for its stock that won't solve all your precision headache. A deal breaker if you ask me. But to make Red9 bearable, you will have to pay it. For all the precision problem Red9 has, you get the best firepower per shot so make the most of it, don't be discouraged.

Its capacity has been heavily tone down compare to og re4. It retain almost everything else from its og re4 counterpart, and added a new precision system. Is its 4.2 precision stat speaking the truth?

Overall review
Due to how Blacktail precision works, its discourage player from not taking aim due to it having slow focus speed every time you retake the aiming stance. Its favor more to play style of move while aiming. Its precision performance can be shorten as "20 cents Punisher".

The joke of NG+ weapon from og re4 is now accessible in a NG. Honest talk, this should have been the case in the beginning. Matilda is far from actually a NG+ power level weapon. Overall review
Its basically Red9 precision performance but weaker aim tolerance. Matilda full set also demand 22 spinels, which is already a huge price gating away most people. All that, you get a weaker firepower Red9, named Matilda that does 3-round burst. On paper Matilda seems doing 2.0 x 3 damage, but its not all. Since you are firing more than one shot, each shot has its own critical rate%. Each crit will add 4.0 damage to 3-burst firing. So in reality, Matilda does indescribable damage. All the damage, you have to deal with all the precision headache just like Red9.
