Introduction
The Scout, or "Jeremy", from "Boston, Massachusetts" is the fastest class in TF2. The scout's special ability is his double jump, which allows him some extra movement by granting him a double-jump. A little background on Jeremy, he was the youngest of eight boys in his family, and he got to fighting at an early age. Sadly, he sucked at fighting, so he learned instead how to run.
Scout is typically seen as the class that can get in and out of most situation unscathed due to his high speed, unless of course he's up against another scout, or a soldier, pyro, demoman, heavy, medic, sniper, engineer, or spy. His maneuverability makes is so that he can annoy the ♥♥♥♥ out of anyone he goes up against, if he can spam jump enough.

Enough with the background, lets get into the gritty details, starting with Scout's weapons.
Cosmetics
The Scout is famed for his eccentric wardrobe, typically sporting bright colors as a taunt to his enemies. He is a quick loudmouth who always tries to show off. If you spot a good scout player in a match, something you immediately notice is how instead of red or blue, his clothes are most likely lime green or bright pink. This is because within the scout community, somewhat as an inside joke, the brighter your clothes are, the better at the game you are. Most other classes don't understand the rankings that the scouts have set up, but this guide will give you a simple breakdown.
If a scout has ~one lime green cosmetics, they're poor.

If a scout has ~2 lime cosmetics, they have taste

If a scout has ~three lime cosmetics, they're referred to as a "Scunt"

What is a "Scunt" you ask?
Scunts
Scunts are the top ranked scout officers within the community. These scout players are typically the cream of the crop. The faster they move and the better their aim, the brighter their lime cosmetics grow. This is what almost all scout mains aim for, because controlling a 24 hour 2fort Skial server from the top is the dream of any scunt. A scunt cosmetic loadout typically consists of three lime cosmetics that have the most amount of fabric to paint ratio, showing as much green as possible, because is makes them glow. It is a way for the scunts to make fun of people who aren't able to hit such a bright target despite their brightness.

Scunts can usually use any weapons as long as they can dodge bullets fast enough, but for example, I'll go over a standard loadout for one of these scunts.

In the primary slot goes the "Force-A-Nature" - A sawed off double barrel scattergun that has high knockback and extremely high damage at point blank range.

In the secondary, goes the "Flying Guillotine" - Which is a throwable weapon that inflicts bleed upon contact with the squishy flesh of any enemy player. No ♥♥♥♥, huh?

And finally, the melee slot feels like it would just end up being a standard weapon, but the scout has some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying weapons that you can use in any slot apparently. The "Sandman" is a baseball bat that allows the player to hit a baseball at an enemy that temporarily stuns and slows down any enemy hit by it.

Now that we've gone over the Scunts weapons, let us move on to weapons.
Weapons
The scout has a wide range of primary weapons, ranging from scattergun to other scattergun. The basic primary that the scout starts with is the scattergun, which is a quick firing miniature shotgun with a lever action to reload. This gun holds six total shots and fires a neat little spread of bullets.

Every other primary that the scout has is a scattergun, including but not limited to, 4 shot weak scattergun, soda force-a-nature, and baby goo-goo ga-ga scattergun.

The scout has multiple secondaries that can change the way the class is played depending on the way it's used. To start, scout can run with the basic pistol, or pistol reskin or pistol reskin.

Scout also has multiple liquids that he can either drink or throw. To begin, he has the BONK! and Crit-o-Cola, which causes to become invulnerable and grant miniature crits for a time, respectively.

Jeremy's other liquid is his milk. In a jar. Jeremy's milk is in the jar and the throws it. At people.

His other secondaries include the flying guillotine, as mentioned previously and some other ♥♥♥♥ pistols nobody cares about.

To continue onto scout's melee arsenal, his basic tool is a metal baseball bat that he uses to smash people's skulls in and whatnot. There's also like 14 melee reskins or something but yadayada you know the drill. He also has the Sandman, Candy Cane, Boston Basher, Three Rune Blade, Sun-on-a-stick, Fan O' War, Atomizer and Wrap Assassin, which stun, drop healthkits, deal bleed, deal bleed, crits burning targets, inflicts marked for death, grants triple jumps, and can throw christmas ornaments in that order.
Strategies
Run.

Jump.

Shoot.

That's pretty much it when it comes to scout.

There are some weapon combos that can be used for some good movement and whatnot, like the winger paired with the force-a-nature and the atomizer to get some real height with jumps, or go for a full on bleed build with the guillotine and the wrap assassin.

The baby face's blaster is a great tool if you don't just jump around a bunch, because if you deal enough damage, you run almost as twice as fast, which is pretty crazy considering how fast scout is anyways.

There are a bunch of different combos and strats that can be employed, but to be honest it's up to you to figure out what you want to do when playing. There's nothing that I can tell you to do, because in the end you'll have to figure out how you like to play.
Communication
As I've mentioned before, the scout is a loudmouth. This is something that you can use to your advantage in each and every game. Since the scout is the most important class in the game, each and every medic should feel a natural attraction to you if you're playing scout.

As a scout, it is your responsibility to inform your medic that you're low on health if you are anything lower than 125 health. To communicate that you are injured to your local medic, a good command to get used to is the "E" key. This button relays information to your computer, which then sends a signal to the server that you're playing on to allow your character to shout out a painful cry for help, the call for medic.

Sometimes, it's easy to forget to call for medic, even in dire situation, so an easy remedy to this issue is to rebind the call for medic bind to either "W" or "Spacebar", which is a surefire way to always be prepared to inform a medic that something is going down.

Another piece of communication that is vital to any scouts arsenal is the prestigious response to any anger brought upon the poor scouts actions. The Lenny.

If you are unfamiliar with the Lenny, you are in for a wonderful time, because using this command in the console.

bind (key) "say ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) "

Thank me later.
