What are SyncDisks
SyncDisks are a consumable in Shadows of Doubt that give permanent upgrades to your character.

How to Acquire, Use, and Upgrade SyncDisks
Acquire
You can find SyncDisks in high income safes and also randomly in the world. SyncDisks are also uncommon rewards for side jobs. Sync Clinic staff will randomly sell one SyncDisk. The Sugar Daddy Sync Disk is unique in that it can be purchased from any Kola machine for ¢r5.

Use
SyncDisks can be installed at a Sync Clinic. Clinics can be found on the map with a DNA icon or in the detective log. You can have up to eighteen SyncDisks installed, one of each type. You can only select one upgrade tree for each disk. You can install a second SyncDisk of the same type to choose a different tree, but this will uninstall and remove all upgrades for the previous type.

Upgrade
To upgrade SyncDisks you need Sync Disk Upgrade Vials. These can be found fairly commonly in businesses and homes. Upgrade Vials can purchased from medical vending machines for ¢r1000.

Can someone please confirm if I can find all 18 on any world I play? If I make the smallest possible world like I did with my Spare No One, will all 18 still spawn? I was going to try both at the same time but the world didn't have a sync clinic sadly. I found 3 of them in one draw, so it was disappointing lol.

@Scott May I have your permission to link this page in my achievement guide? I had started listing out all the Sync Disk details but, when I'm finished, it's just gonna look exactly like your guide anyway. I'd rather link here instead so you get credit for having such a comprehensive list :p2cube:

@JakeSlayer Taller makes it easier to disable cameras with lockpicks (and yea reach the top shelf lol), but you also can get spotted easier (like its harder to hide behind a couch or small cover) and you hit your head on doorways at max height, meaning you have to crouch to go through doors. i think reaching in bottom drawers also becomes difficult if i remember correctly

on the other hand being shorter makes it easier to hide behind counters and short cover, but makes it harder to hack cameras and maybe even reach air vents. Also im pretty sure its really hard to reach counter tops at minimum height.
