The Interview System of Dark Rose Valkyrie is extremely complex with multiple variations for each Chapter.
In this guide is an attempt to explain as many interview variations as possible for each chapter.

DISCLAIMER: The information inside is drawn from my own personal experience (my playthrough) as well as information found on the internet (interview variations I did not encounter).

In Chapters 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 you will be required to interview the female members of your team in order to find out "if any one of them have defected to the Chimera Army".

• Basically you do this by interviewing them about their thoughts on a certain Topic and asking about other members in regards to the same topic.
  
• One of them will lie about something.
  
• The liar is to be reported as the Suspect for that interview. (It's not going to be the same person throughout all interviews.)
  
• You are also to provide the suspect's statement that you suspect as a lie and at least two statements from others that contradict the suspect's statement.
  
• The number of overall Questions you can ask during an Interview is limited by your evaluation.
  
• So the higher your overall evaluation with your teammates, the more total number of questions you can ask them.

You will have a Helper/Aid who you can use to check a statement's authenticity, BUT ONLY ONCE PER CHAPTER INTERVIEW.

• In Chapter 5, Kengo Shinohara and Naoyuki Kazami will be your Helpers.
  
• From Chapter 6 onwards:
  
  • Kana Hazuki will become your Investigator.
    
  • The one who didn't turn Chimera (in my Case It was Naoyuki Kazami) will become your helper who will corroborate statements.
    
  • Kana can also be used in the beginning of the chapter to gather extra information about your allies. (I suggest you max her abilities and use this.)
    
  • You can only use the helper once during the chapter interview. To check if a statement is corroborated.
    
  • You cannot use the helper multiple times on different people during the same interview.
    
  • If a statement is corroborated that means it is true.
    
  • if a statement is NOT corroborated it DOES NOT mean it is FALSE just that the helper cannot prove it true.
  Variations
  Each chapter has multiple possible interviews.
  However there can be variations in the interview, this means even if the topic is the same, the dialogues and the person lying may change.
  
  • So two playthroughs may have different variations.
    
  • You can also save and reload to change the interview (the variations will not change across multiple reloads but the interview may change, so you can reload until you get the interview you want).
    
  • It is also possible for an Interview to have No Suspect at all, if all the the talks match up.
  Rewards
  Remember, the main objective is to find the liar.
  
  • If you succeed, then at the END of the NEXT chapter's interview you will be given rewards. (This is one of the reasons making a guide for all the interviews is so challenging.)
    
  • You need to get succeed in a certain amount of Interviews (and get good/high evaluation with a character) to get the True Ending with that character.

In this Interview the members talk about Kazami.
There are two variations to this Interview.
In both cases Yue is the culprit.

• Talk to Amal about Coo and Yue.
  
• How he responds will allow you to see which variation to use below.

In this variation everyone is saying that Kazami and Coo have similar tastes in films/movies. But Yue says they have mutual interest in Cermics.

• Talk to Amal about Coo.
  
• Talk to Coo but ask about no one.
  
• Talk to Luna about Coo.
  
• Talk to Yue about Coo (use Helper).

DISCLAIMER: I did not encounter this variation personally. So I'm not sure about it. I found it on the internet.

• Amal says that he has seen Kazami and Yue go to the compound room multiple times (not sure if together or separately).
  
• Yue is saying that Kazami doesn't know about handloading. So she plans on teaching him (implication: in the future). it's been a while (since she handloaded) so she borrowed the compounding room by herself, to review.
  
• Coo is saying that Kazami taught her (Coo) about handloading.
  
• Coo also says that Kazami borrowed the Compounding room to practice.

Suspect: Yue
Statements: Use the above mentioned statements.

The main issue is that:

• Yue is lying that she is Planning on teaching Kazami how to handload (Implication being in the near future).
  
• But according to Coo and Amal, Kazami already knows how to handload. Either because:
  
  • Yue has already taught Kazami and they are using the compound room together.
    
  • or Kazami already knows and is using the compound room alone (separate from Yui).

In this Interview, the members talk about each other.
Yue is saying that she and Coo have grown closer because Coo liked her strap.
But Ai and Coo's testimony says Coo was scared by Yue's strap.

• Talk to Ai about Yue and Coo (use Helper on conversation about Coo).
  
• Talk to Coo about Yue.
  
• Talk to Yue about Coo.

In this Interview, you talk to the members about the State of the Capital.

• Luna tells you that the food in the capital is awful.
  
• But the other members say that Luna told them the food was:
  
  • better than other places
    
  • or delicious.

• Talk to Luna but ask about no one.
  
• Talk to Ai about Luna.
  
• Talk to Yue about Luna.
  
• Talk to Coo about Luna.

In this Interview, you and the members talk about public safety.

• Luna says that Coo finds it difficult to use the Internet.
  
• But everyone else says Coo is good at using the Internet.

• Talk to Luna about Coo
  
• Talk to Ai about Coo
  
• Talk to Amal about Coo
  
• Talk to Yue about Coo

• Note: Kana's Investigation on Coo can also be used.

In this Interview, you ask the members about what they did on their day off.
No matter who you interview all questions match up.
No Suspect.

Variation 1: Machine to "Neuter" the Chimeras?

Ok. I'm gonna take this with a pinch of salt. Because this conversation is just ridiculous.
I did not encounter this personally in my playthrough.
I found it on the internet so it's unconfirmed.

Luna is the suspect.
Luna talks about a machine that will *ahem* "Neuter" the chimeras.
But everyone else says she was talking about Vaccines and Antibodies.
Use these conversations about Luna to report.

In this Interview, you ask the members about any requests they want from or complaints about the military.
Read all variations below and choose the one that fits you.

UNCONFIRMED VARIATION: Found on Internet.

• Talk to Yue about Luna.

Coo is the suspect.
Coo says Luna is worried about the Air Conditioning but everyone says that Luna wouldn't complain to others and instead would do something about it herself.
Use the above conversations along with Kana's Investigation about Luna to report.

UNCONFIRMED VARIATION: Found on Internet.

• Talk to Coo about Yue. (Use Helper)
  
• Talk to Ai about Yue.
  
• Talk to Luna about Yue.

Coo is the suspect.
Coo says Yue wants more transparency but everyone else says Yue would have no complaints and would just follow orders like a good soldier.
Use the above conversations along with Kana's Investigation about Yue to report.

UNCONFIRMED VARIATION: Found on Internet.

• Talk to Ai but ask about no one.
  
• Talk to Luna about Ai.
  
• Talk to Yue about Ai.

This one seems weak to me. Ai could be joking.
Ai is the suspect.
Ai mentions Salary as request then laughs, but everyone says Ai would voice no complaints or requests.

In this Interview, the members are asked about the Valkyrie System

UNCONFIRMED VARIATION: Found on Internet.
Yue thinks Luna was performing maintenance on her own machine but then contradicts herself by saying she goes for the machine itself. Coo also agrees that Luna cant repair her machine.

• Talk to Yue about Ai. (Use Helper on Second part of conversation)
  
• Talk to Yue about Luna.
  
• Talk to Coo about Ai.
  
• Read Kana's Investigative Report on Luna.

NOTE: If Kana's Investigation on Luna succeeded, then you can use her investigative report on Luna as well.

In this Interview, the members are asked what they think about the Director and Cielo.

• Talk to Yue but ask about no one.
  
• Talk to Ai about Yue.
  
• Talk to Luna about Yue.
  
• Talk to Amal about Yue.
  
• Talk to Coo about Yue.

Alternatively, you can also use Amal's statement or Kana's Investigation to contradict Yue's statement.

I have encountered this variation, but not confirmed this personally.
However, I feel this can also be used.
This variation was also found on the internet as well.
Seems I was lucky to encounter two variations in one interview.

in this Interview, the members are asked about their thoughts on what they did during Stand-by.

Yue is saying that an unknown person submitted Luna's vacation time by everyone else is saying it was an emergency summons by the Ichinomiya Family.

In this Interview, the members talk about the battle commands you give.

Amal says she's happy that you dont withdraw from fights but everyone else says that Amal told them she's ok with withdrawing.
