As you may be able to tell by the incredibly informational graphic titling this guide, there are TWO S tier weapons, the crossbow and dual pistols.

In this section, we will be discussing both.

The crossbow provides AMAZING wave clear / multi targeting damage, and with the right mods, quite literally deletes everything on ANY map off this plane of existence. My best runs have been completed with this weapon, but it is VERY important for you to select the correct mods when running crossbow. But even if you don't, realistically all will be fine as this weapon is simply incredibly BASED.

The dual pistols by contrast allow for INSANE single target / boss damage, but with bouncing shots + fire rate increase, will borderline crash your game but also secure the dub at any point. Dualies are slightly more particular when it comes to mods and OP runs, but have a lot more potential to OBLITERATE your enemies.

The biggest takeaway from this section is what KIND of mods you should be prioritizing, and that would be DAMAGE DAMAGE DAMAGE. On occasion, pick up some crystal / economy mods, namely ones that directly correlate to damage being done. Never opt for grenade / stacking health mods if you can help it... some stacks of Grim Reaper will be PLENTY with the amount of damage you are pooping out.

Some movement mods can help depending on how good you are at dodging.

TLDR: Why care about movement or health when you can just one-shot everything before they can attack you?

That being said, here are some specific mods you should always be picking up:

Grip Tape - Helps reduce spread and allows for more concise shots

Bouncing Shots - Gives flat damage buff but also allows for INSANE stacking damage

Piercing Shots - Works AMAZING with bouncing shots in order to keep those bullets running through enemies

Grim Reaper - Why stack health when you are just perma healing from killing everything within 2 seconds?

JUICED - BY FAR THE SINGLE BEST MOD TO STACK IN THE GAME HANDS DOWN BAR NONE LICK NUTS IF YOU THINK OTHERWISE

There are MANY other mods that help contribute to damage but these need to be your bread and butter.

For those of you without common sense just remember this when you are choosing mods:
BULLETS GO FAST, BULLETS GO BOUNCE, BULLETS GO THROUGH, BULLETS HIT HARD

Keep that in mind, and you'll be set for life.

Now that the crossbow and dual pistols are out of the way, let's give a fair and open minded discussion to the rest of the weapons, detailing their pros and cons.
