There is general Equipment that cannot be further manipulated and has a fixed Roll, such as Ammo or individual Turret Weapons, but this may change with upcoming Patches.

Each material brings its own bonus values, but not every material can be built into all Turret Weapons.

Aluminium: Increases Turret Reload Speed and Rotation Speed

Copper: Increases Tower Heat Dmg and Heat Piercing

Iron: Increases Tower Physical Dmg and Physical Piercing

Vulcan Cannon: The Vulcan Cannon always requires 5 Iron Ingots and 2 Copper Ingots, and as a Bonus,Copper Cables for more Range,Iron Ingots for more Physical Damage and or Pierce and Copper Ingots for more Heat Damage and or Heat Pierce

Rail Gun: The Rail Gun always requires 8 Iron Ingots, 4 Steel Ingots and 4 Lightweight Materieal (Aluminium) and as a Bonus, Copper Cabbles for more Electric Damage

120kW Laser: The Laser Turret always requires 3-4 Heat Material (Copper), Aluminium 2-4, Cabble Copper 10 and as a Bonus Titanium Ingots for mor Heat Damage or Heat Pierce

So far it seems the best to always max one Bonus alone and not mix any to get the most out of the lvl Cap.

So far I've also done it by increasing the Values ​​individually in Order to make the best use of the lvl and achieve the highest possible Value.
What you have to keep in mind is that every better Value requires the worse one as an Ingredient






















In my Opinion It is the best to only add the basic Ingredients to required and add the better Ingredients to the bonus Ingredients in order to get the most out of the lvl cap.

Here's a simple example of my current Rail Gun.

Since the increase in individual Steps produces many individual Items, I had the whole thing produced automatically. I have set up the Chain so that the better Items can access the worse ones, but each one is kept in Stock if necessary.
