🇬🇧 Let's start Sol. 1

                   You only need to create a new Windows profile to play the game.

                    The steps to create a new profile can be found at this link:
                    Fix a corrupted user profile in Windows[support.microsoft.com]

      To make the new profile your main user, follow the instructions below on the same link.

     NOTE : The game may not work with mods, but it works normally without doing anything else.

    Para poder jugar al juego, lo primero que hay que hacer es crear un nuevo perfil de Windows.

                     Puedes encontrar los pasos para hacerlo en este enlace:
               Reparar un perfil de usuario corrupto en Windows[support.microsoft.com]

     Si quieres que el nuevo perfil sea tu usuario principal, sigue las instrucciones más abajo
                                     en el mismo enlace.

NOTA: El juego puede no funcionar con mods, pero debería funcionar sin problemas sin hacer nada más.

          For this second solution, I would recommend doing it after trying the first one
                 and playing the game for a bit, however it may not be necessary.

What you need to do each time you want to play the game is to open the location of the EA shortcut in the start bar, then open the location of the EA shortcut again (just EA without anything else).

     Once inside, look for EADesktop and run it as administrator and wait for it to fully load.

         After that, you need to go to the location where your Mass Effect game or any other
              EA game is located and run the game as administrator (not in trial mode).

NOTE: I don't know if it works with mods, but it's a better alternative than switching between two Windows profiles.

           Para esta segunda solución, recomendaría hacerla después de probar la primera
                  y jugar el juego por un rato. Pero puede que no sea necesario.

         Lo que necesitas hacer cada vez que quieras jugar el juego es abrir la ubicación
                        del acceso directo de EA en la barra de inicio,
      y luego abrir la ubicación del acceso directo de EA nuevamente (solo EA, sin nada más).

                    Después, busca EADesktop y ejecútalo como administrador.
           Espera a que la aplicación se abra completamente y luego ve a la ubicación
            donde se encuentre el juego de Mass Effect o cualquier otro juego de EA
                          y ejecútalo como administrador (no trial).

NOTA: No sé si el juego funciona con mods, pero esta solución es mejor que alternar entre dos perfiles de Windows para jugar.

i did all of the above and when i launch the MassEffectAndromeda.exe i get an ActivationUI.exe error saying that the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).

I had problems launching too and then I updated Frosty to the latest version and removed all of my mods. I then reinstalled my mods and now it loads fine 99% of the time. Sometimes though it will not load and I close steam, frosty, and EA app. Then relaunch the game through Frosty and it's good again.

If I might add a thought.... just log into the EA desktop app normally, then in the upper left click the icon for the settings, and go offline with the app, and don't close it - just minimize it. Then I use Frosty Mod Manager and so I launch through it. it pulls up the EA offline app window up - click the play for ME:A and it should launch via Steam. With the EA app in offline mode - it does not interfere with the game, the mods, or anything else. Hope this helps!!!

Too bad, I tried everything to fix it for more than four months and those two were the only ones that worked for me.

Neither work for me, fyi. The EA app is just dogshit
