Introduction
The EIP is quite the beast to operate, but she actually is quite delicate.i will show u how to operate her.

This is gonna be a quick guide

Control Surfaces
In the Driver's cab there are 2 control surfaces, the Driver's console and the Switch board at the back
Cold Start.
Starting from cold:
Step 1: Turn on Battery
The Driver's console should be lit up now

Step 2: Turn on Corridor lighting and Passenger compartment lighting

Step 3: Activate the Cabin

Step 4: Activate the Pantograph (front or back doesn't matter or even both)

Step 5: Activate Force compressor and Control circuits

Step 6: Press and hold "Close Main Switch" button until red light shown on right picture is no longer there

Step 7: Set Service Break to Running

Step 8: Set Direction Control to Forwards

Step 9: Disable the Spring Brakes

Step 10: Use default controls Num pad + / - to control speed and accelerate away!
Braking
EIP only has Pneumatic Brakes only.

Using default buttons Numpad 3 / 9 to increase or decrease brake force

Tapping 3 / 9 cycles it through the different modes of braking
IMPORTANT NOTES
If you skipped all the above don't worry the info you want to look for to these questions:
1) why am i putting power but train isn't accelerating
2) it was driving but after applying the brakes I am unable to accelerate

[1] DO NOT BRAKE WHEN DRIVE HANDLE IS NOT FULLY PULLED BACK
This is because this train WILL lock out the drive handle inputs for a few seconds ( around5~10seconds)

[2] APPLYING BRAKES TOO HARD WILL LOCK THE WHEELS
This situation stop the train fully, disengage the brakes until the wheel lock is off

Summary:
If unable to accelerate
==> Pull back Drive handle all the way to Zero
==> Ensure Brakes are not Applied
==> Ensure Wheel isn't locked
==> Let train coast for about 5~10 Seconds (if still moving)
==> After the short wait try accelerating again

Do not apply brakes if drive handle is not fully pulled back

here is the correct position:
Final words
Hope this guide would help many others to drive the EIP

If there is any new findings do add them in the comments section and will try to update if i can.
i don't play this game tooo much so this might be the only update?

26 dec 24 Edit:
I would like mention that i do not know what each indicator means and how to troubleshoot each in the cabin, but it was based off observations and testing.

Thus, take what i say here with a pinch of salt. Just a guide to help those just wanting to know how to get it moving.

Thanks for reading!

Actually I found the answer to my question and thought I’d leave it here. I read somewhere that if you hold shift while you’re changing your throttle level it moves faster, also seems to work with other controls.

Is there any key to reset the throttle to the zero position similar to what Num6 does for resetting auto-brake?

Is there any way how to release/reset brakes if it is not emergency braking and train brake line holds 3,83±2 bar? I guess it can be called the anti-slip system

The braking part is BS. The ED250 has electrodynamic brakes, you use them with the combined brake handle. The lamp you designated as wheel lock is the lamp indicating pneumatic brakes are used

Thanks for this, super helpful. I am having a blast playing this train now that I actually know what I am doing! I keep this guide up just in case I forget something.

Thanks with missing tutorial for EIP, this one was hard nut. I managed somehow with try and fail till I get probably 80% right, but your tutorial still helped me to improve what I already learned.
