just real quick on how to play the demo if you have the full game aswell. since if you wanna play the demo steam wants to download the full game of ~55gb while the demo is only ~10.8
Get steam console
real simple. make sure that the desktop app is open and you are logged in.
then go to your browser, open a new tab and insert:
steam://nav/console




and you will get this
Install game
when you are in the console just insert this code:
app_install 2231770


you can see that the download indicator on the bottom middle has appeared
