Overview

Dorothy, upon witnessing the battle between the Realm of Nod and the Realm of Specters, decided to join in and become the "Sarcastic Magical Girl". She did it so she could wear pretty clothes and punish those who annoyed her, of course, not so much to help save the world.

In combat, Dorothy (MG) (Short for Magical Girl) is an aggressive, damage oriented Swordsman, and also Mage! She is able to equip and use both swords and wands to great effect, ensuring no enemy is safe from her punishment.
Stats
Dorothy's (MG) stats, at level 100 and with no awakenings, are as follows:

Tips, Tricks, and Thoughts
Dorothy (MG) has a rather simple set of abilities: She can use swords and wands, and when she uses one type of weapon, the other becomes stronger, thanks to gaining a temporarily bonus to its respective offensive stat. What is not so simple, however, is which weapons she should be equipped with.
  • There are incentives, especially with awakenings, for her to equip similar amounts of swords and wands, rather than focusing on one of them. Her most notable strength is being able to choose, based on the situation, whether single target Physical DMG or area of effect Magic DMG is more desirable, which requires both types of weapon to be available to her in the player's hand. Even when focusing on just one, she should still have access to the other, so that she can grant herself her passive buffs.

  • If choosing to focus on using her as a Swordsman, she will mainly differentiate herself by her impressive ability to increase her own stats before annihilating an enemy, often bringing them from full health down to zero in one turn. She's able to use Strength Wands on herself, gaining their powerful STR buff without relying on a teammate, while also activating her own passive STR buff. Then, on the next turn, she can perform a devastating Stance combo, which may include her Exclusive Weapon, and may finish with her Ultimate.

  • If used as a Mage instead, she will be unique in her mobility and resilience, thanks to her stat distribution and 1 AP cost for movement. She can double down on those by using Scimitar and Parrying Dagger weapons as necessary to reposition and protect herself, while activating her INT buff at the same time.

  • She can inflict enemies with status effects at the start of her turn by using chanting wands, such as a Fire Wand or Frost Wand, then immediately capitalize on it by attacking them with a corresponding status effect boosting sword, such as an Ignition Sword or Ice-cutting Edge.

  • Due to her high Movement stat and many options of movement weapons, such as Scimitars and Space Wands, she is highly capable of rushing down a priority target, or performing hit-and-run tactics, if needed.

  • Other Swordsmen and Mages in her team will also influence her choice of weapons, as she will also be able to use the ones equipped to them.

Due to the nature of her abilities, Dorothy (MG) is not picky about which characters she likes to have as teammates, as she benefits from all kinds of buffs and effects, including:
  • Any kind of stat increases, such as from Oscar, Natalie, or Jane.

  • Any damage increases, such as from Tess, Charity, Tania, or Josephine.

  • Any stat reductions inflicted to opponents, such as from Sarah or Eileen.

  • Any healing and shielding effects, such as from Irene or Zelena (Easter Day).

  • Some class-specific effects, such as from Luther or Kayla.
