Hello everyone and welcome to another guide!
Here, I'll show you the best 10 portrait mods for your Stardew Valley game. Change the way your townies look!

Notes:
  • Adding these mods won't affect your current savefile. If you want to be sure, you can always make a backup.
  • While some mods in this list are compatible with other bigger mods (SVE, Seasonal Outfits for example), this guide is focused on vanilla (modless) Stardew Valley.
  • The mods are from NexusMods.

Vanilla Facelift
This mod edits each portrait to smooth them out and make the artstyle consistent. Every character's portrait has been touched up, but their designs remain (mostly) the same!

Thank you @drkanbs! Mono's Portraits is definitely the one for me, it's detailed but it still has that Stardew feeling to it if you get what I mean, it definitely should be added to this list!

They look great! As much as I enjoy SV, I just don't like the vanilla portraits. Shie's and Nyapu's portraits are my favorite. Not of fan of Jier's HD version though as it was clearly ai generated.

the jiers portraits one looks ai generated... why make a mod specifically about changing the art and then not use real art,,,,,,
