this actually ends up being good advice at a certain level of skill.
complete beginners move the various forces of the car in contradicting ways,
but intermediate drivers that have some understanding of how the various forces are best
related to each other often don't have a good sense of when they are underspeeding.
sometimes its better to give the car a little more gas to get out quicker, the tires might wear
more but it's a matter of staying in a general range to the best of your ability.
