Beskrivning

As part of Operation Masher, Tiger Division troops from the ROK has been deployed to Vietnam south central coast to deal with Vietcong insurgency overwhelming US forces there.

Feb 5, 1966: As part of a patrol to destroy as many VC weapons cache as possible, Tiger Division forces been interrogating the local population suspected of being VC sympathizers. Because of distrust of information given by local population from translators, some of the Tiger Division studied up on Vietnamese themselves to retrieve information and speak directly to the locals themselves.

First interrogate some civilians gathered from Hoa Lien. Then proceed to the next part of the patrol.

nice, could do without killing the civilians, but i guess ROK were ruthless but that didn't help them did it

Seriously awesome mission!!! The ROK kicked butt in Vietnam and always wanted to play a mission with them. Thank you!

Good short mission with 27 enemies.

@ohy0806 Just updated and the squad leaders now have M-2 Carbines. All the regular grunts have M1 Garand. I made medics have M1 Garands now than the default m2 carbines from default loadouts.

I still kept trench guns for engineers as default and M79 for grenadiers though. Guy at the meeting point should have a M3 grease gun instead of Thompson now.

Hey man. Thanks. I'll keep a note to update weapons in that case. I was using whatever the default gear gave me.

Hey friend :) Korean army at the time
They did not use mainly American-made Thompson submachine guns.
Only officers used m1 or m2 carbines and M3A1 grease guns.
The infantry used M-1 Garand and Bar automatic rifles. And the m16 rifle was issued from the United States after being dispatched. When we withdrew from the war, we stole about 1.5 million American-made weapons, and even now, some of them are still in the military arsenal after going through parts licenses.
