I still kept trench guns for engineers as default and M79 for grenadiers though. Guy at the meeting point should have a M3 grease gun instead of Thompson now.
They did not use mainly American-made Thompson submachine guns.
Only officers used m1 or m2 carbines and M3A1 grease guns.
The infantry used M-1 Garand and Bar automatic rifles. And the m16 rifle was issued from the United States after being dispatched. When we withdrew from the war, we stole about 1.5 million American-made weapons, and even now, some of them are still in the military arsenal after going through parts licenses.
