It's sad that the character was discontinued, my mono Zen journey was good for as long as it lasted, too bad it didn't last long and he was banned from my yomi group's tierlist because of his burst (for obvious reasons of completely taking away the reward of the correct reading of the enemy), anyway, rest in peace Zen

Speaking of throws, apparently Zen's forward throw no longer works and just softlocks the opponent. At this point, it's been a fun ride, but you should probably uninstall Zen for your own sanity.

I made a movelist doc for a reason man... But yes Burst being unblockable and dealing damage was the plan, it's SCREWED UP I know, but I'm planning a full rework that makes Zen fairer and cooler.

As for throw tech, it being faster was intended, but it's straight up impossible to combo off of, the most he can get is a Ki Shot meaty or an Overhead meaty in the corner..? Maybe some weird bug? But I'm testing it now and yeah throw tech's invulnerability lasts the entire time.

@LxL_egacy yo. Is burst supposed to do 10 (100) damage?
Also grab tech (when two grabs clash) is ready early, making it possible for Zen to combo off of.

So like, idk why but the latest update broke his burst, it's unparryable. You might want to look into that. Happened in a fight with the King of Curses mod, idk if any other character causes it but i think it's worth looking into jic.

Hey, just a suggestion: Could you give the future Zen some more impactful sound effects? When using this Zen against other characters, his moves didn't feel as impactful. I think it was because of the sound and visual FX but he animates really cool and I really like his current kit so, seeing that he's getting a reworked version in the future gets me excited. Good luck on all your projects, though!

yeah it was planned for an update that is now a total revamp
so that move will exist in the future, just not on this Zen
I don't really have the motivation to work on this version of Zen, he's just so flawed
so I'm starting over, and this time I'll actually try and follow through on my plans for him

but for now, I have other characters I'm working on

Came back around here cuz I was interested, and I was wondering, I found a special move called "Rapid Blows" when fucking around in Inf. Resources + EX Turbo, and it doesn't seem to show up in your movelist doc, or actually be able to be used in proper singleplayer.

Just wanted to know if you were still working on properly implementing it or not, since it isn't a Frenzy attack.

I guess I should mention after my (sort-of) break, I'll be trying to update all of my characters relatively soon
for Zen this means... nothing for now lol. Sorry Zen dudes. I'm still designing his revamp, but technically speaking, this version of him is complete.
