Welcome to Burgundy

TNO-Inspired mod that allows a Germany player to create the State of Burgundy with Himmler at the helm!

TNO-Inspired mod that allows a Germany player to create the State of Burgundy with Himmler at the helm!

The country has a small focus tree that the AI will go down, making the State a semi-useful ally to have.

I had plans to flesh this mod out to become a full country with custom generals and all that. Unfortunately life is fun, and I just don't have the time to bring it about.

The country is meant to be an ally/puppet for RP purposes, originally meant for those doing a small mega-campaign leading to TNO.

There are thankfully not any bugs to report. Please let us know if you encounter any issues!

Gotcha! This mod was made as a way for players to semi-mega-campaign a TNO Game. In the TNO mod, Himmler controls the Burgundy faction. So the mod places him as leader.

While Degrelle may have historically been the option for it, Himmler and his scheming ways make for a more horrifying/entertaining story-narrative for their mod. Definitely recommend TNO (The New Order) if you're into that side of HOIV mods and Alt-History in general!

Solos, I don't know about TNO. I mean Burgundy was a Degrelle and Rexist kink. It's even a focus in the new Belgian tree.

Haven't played TNO in a bit, did they change Himmler out as leader? Will have a look later and make change if needed. Appreciate the call out!

This should have Degrelle at the helm, obviously.
I mean, just look it up, it's documented plenty.

@win2k_playz The alternate timeline where the allies accepted Himmlers proposal and let him lead democratic Germany.

When I do the decision, it creates a nation known as the "BERman Republic", "Democratic with leader "Bob Smith" and all the focus tree is tags e.g. "bur_establishing_rule".
