Though seeing the final scene a second time did make me tear up, which I don't think any other video game has even gotten anywhere close to making me do, and I can only recal one other piece of media that has done so.

The first time I was totally awestruck by the wholesomeness.

I didn't get sad at the ending, because I saw the final scene as a happy one, even if it was bittersweet.

To be 100% clear, I got the good ending.
And I won't be getting the bad ending until after I get all of the other achievements (aside from "It's All A Dream", of course)

actual guide: mute game audio in end and replace it with takyon by death grips. it worked for me and now i didn't get sad at the ending.
