Fire Clan

This is an MES NPC mod that focuses on atmospheric fleet battles, explosive dogfighting action, and phat loot.


Space engineers are prohibited from operating in the skies controlled by FireClan: an evil alien hive of super intelligent bacteria that feed off of charred, carbonized organic matter.


Simplified: cold war -> hot war -> boss spawns -> cold war -> repeat

Players begin in a state of "cold war" and will only experience aggressive encounters once there is a buildup of significant power in the local region. After directly attacking enough of Fire Clan's cargo ships and fueling stations, they will declare war on the player. All future encounters will have varying degrees of aggression and difficulty. Once the player has defeated enough high value targets, a boss encounter is eligible. Destroying a boss will reset the current state with Fire Clan back to the cold war, and a player can choose to escalate back to war or ignore Fire Clan.

THIS MOD INTENDED TO WORK WITH MODIFIED SPEEDS

Use the Elemental Clans Speed Mod to achieve the recommended settings of:

• 300 m/s Small Grid
  
• 150 m/s Large Grid
