After 5 seasons of organizing races for the Polish GRID2 community, with 4 lobbies competing every week, we decided it's time to go even further. We want to invite you all to SOLxDerby International. This is a subleague organized as a part of the polish one, created specifically for people from all around the globe and with expectations of a higher skill level.

The event takes place during the next 6 weeks with a Race Day every Wednesday at 18:30 GMT (in case date becomes a problem the admin team will change it before the first Race day). For each Race Day the car and tracks will be pre-chosen by admins. The tracks were specifically chosen to make sure to fit each car’s characteristics.

As for the scoring, there are a few custom scoring systems, but don't worry, race positions are getting scored as in GRID 2 (aka first place 20 pts., second 16pts. etc.). In terms of our custom ways to get some additional score - we added 3 extra points for Fastest Laps on City or Track races, and 4 points for biggest increase of position in current event standings.

And for the main attraction - 7 extra points for each elimination of another driver, but you have to remember it has to be a direct contact, not giving someone damage while they crash later on their own.

However, if you don't like the concept of eliminating each other, it’s not required and you can expect it to be way less chaotic than a custom lobby, not only because of people driving better but also from points being big enough to be a good bonus, but not enough to make you win if you only go for them.

For the interested drivers, we provide a discord server (link below) where all the additional info is prepared, and all the requirements, rules and signups are. We have Voice Channels prepared, where during the time of the event we all join and have fun driving or we can also use them in between the Race Days for casual meetings and for looking for a game with other drivers on the server.

So why not give it a shot?, pretty sure GRID 2 did not have an organized event that big for a long time!
