---What is Subfactions?---

Subfactions are a mod series with the focus on giving the base factions of Reassembly a fresh coat of paint, and an alternate take on them to give people a whole other way to try their favourites. The changes will push the pros and cons of the default faction in a new direction, via changing their statistics for weapons, thrusters, and even in some cases removing or adding new blocks!


---Who are the Union?---
When Terrans first entered this Galaxy, it was not as a fleet of invasion, or of diplomacy-scant years after recon probes scout the halo stars, the prospector fleets arrived. Industrial ships and mining equipment set out to new lands, but greed came in tow too; The workers were left to survive on their own once the wealth was depleted, and the colonies began to form

Now the Union has converted its mining tools to weapons, to not only sieze the means of their production, but the results of it too

---How do they play?---
The Union is not a caste of warriors or an academy of prodigies; they're laymen, the average human on the miner's payroll- most of their weapons are basic defence cannons or cutting lasers converted to weapons. Their industrial containers and solar arrays mean they can happily bank up resources, and their combat and repair drones are a fair support. What makes the Union stand out is their starting area is littered with settlements upon asteroids, and their access to to the micro-nuclear launcher (Exactly what you may think it is!) and the Pulsar, an area of effect weapon which spells doom for any ship that tries to get in ramming range! The stations of the Union will find these useful to defend themselves- they're fewer than many factions, with either the depo station, or the MCV Starship
