if you're like me and don't understand words very good (and the implications of "dash-striking" seem extremely vague (because they are)) then you will understand my pain here.

to dash-strike for some reason you don't dash and then strike, you have to strike and then dash. specifically once you release whatever button you use to strike, you dash afterwards.
