King Tide

KT is an otter fighter who controls space using sound 'waves', and directs the flow of the fight. By following the tempo of the fight and spitting bars, King Tide can really prove why he's #1.

Flow state is an install KT can activate that increases his speed, weight, and the power of his strongs and Uspecial (added in v1.13).
Flow state is activated when KT is in the flow; hitting multiple attacks in succession, or performing well with Dspecial!

By using Nspecial, KT deploys his Jukebox. Using this article, he can amplify his raps and bounce off of it using his skateboard. While Nspecial's projectile is active, KT can press Nspecial again to activate the article before the projectile lands.
Additionally, while in the field of the jukebox, the maximum time KT is allowed to be in his install is increased, but it also increases the amount of meter KT needs to enter Flow State. You can check how much meter is needed by looking at your hud.

Fspecial is a dashing flip on KT's skateboard. This attack can bounce off of enemies, walls, and your Jukebox. It can be cancelled prematurely.

Uspecial is a decent kill option and travels vertically and horizontally. While in pratfall after this attack, KT can land on his Jukebox to bounce off of it.
As stated before, this attack gets more powerful during install, so use it to clean up stocks off the top quickly.

When KT uses Dspecial, it activates a rhythm minigame that has 5 variations. Time your inputs correctly to create shockwaves on you and your jukebox. This attack also quickly activates Flow State.
If you don't have too many mistakes, you can press Shield to roll, parry, or airdodge out of Dspecial.
