The fix
Notice: this guide is specifically for those who are having issues with the game recognizing Intel card,
it is Not compatible with Quixote Fix due to it sharing same DLL file name. This guide was tested on a Intel UHD 630 card with 16gb of ram, If you are running on a old intel card or lack the min pc requirements this guide may not be for you.

The fix forcibly injects Intel graphics device to be used as the first device by the game.

download Batman: Arkham Knight Intel GPU detection fix here: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/2546-batman-arkham-knight-intel-gpu-detection-fix/

download and extract the DLL file to this directory of your steam folder: Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Knight\Binaries\Win64

please note: it includes Batman Tweak, though it is not needed for proper operation.
why it doesn't register your card
The game has an internal check which conditionally ignores Intel integrated graphics, then look for any other supported graphics device. The game may either refuse to progress past the initial splash screen or use Microsoft's reference 3D adapter instead, thus using the basic window render instead of your integrated card. the devs of Arkham knight updated the game some time ago and made it impossible for users with intel cards to play Arkham knight,

I found this because I have recently upgraded my ram and have found a solution for this thanks to the people at pcwiki who made this fix late last year:
https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Batman:_Arkham_Knight#Running_game_with_Intel_integrated_graphics

Conclusion
I Wanted to repost this to steam, because I realize many users do not know about pcwiki, and its a amazing resource that deserves all the credit.

I hope this helps user like me who where attempting to play this game on intel, while I cannot guarantee it fixes your problems, this should help those who were struggling to play it after the updates.

yes remember that you need to extract it to Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Knight\Binaries\Win64

ensure you extract it by right clicking the folder, it will not work otherwise

OK - I was just copying that dll file out and then dumping it into the binaries folder. It is essential (as per the instructions, heh) to actually EXTRACT it directly into the correct folder. Then it works! Thanks for the guide.

I did it - game still won't launch. Iris Xe graphics | 32Gb RAM.

Thanks bro! I was frustrated that the game wouldn't start, and no other fixes worked. I tried your suggestion, and the game started immediately.

@Nieyo glad to here it, again it sucks they intentionally did this, and I think the big reason why was because they stopped working on fixing it at one point, and before they abandoned the game they made this patch mainly to ensure they fixed any loose ends.

idk won't lie who knows why they did this, I will say I no longer use my uhd 630 card, but with this fix, it made the game playable, and despite not having the dedicated graphics card it needed at the time, the 16 gb of ram did allow it to run this game at a decent framerate

it made no sense to lock intel users out , but a shame it came a few years too late

I have an Intel Arc A770 16 GB GPU and the fix has completely resolved my FPS issues. Thank you very much :)

Runs smoothly on a mid-range laptop instead of like a 5 fps google slides presentation now. Thanks!

@axegon

"unofficial fixes originally made for running Batman: Arkham Knight on GPD Win UMPC but also works on system with Intel GPU recent enough for the game.

Drop the 'dxgi.dll' file into the game installation's "Binaries/Win64" folder. Archive also includes Batman Tweak, though it is not needed for proper operation."

use the batman tweak in the dir the game is in, again this is mainly for intel cards, if you have any other card beyond that then this is not for you.

Also keep in mind it depends on your card, if you are running this on a very old intel card from a decade ago I promise you this will not run on your pc.

post the specs and I will see what the issue is, but can't help beyond what this guide is for.

I want to say I attempted to do guides before, but it led to people asking me help for things past the guide.

I want to state this guide is not intended to fix major performance issues on intel cards, the point of the guide is to help users get the game to recognize intel cards, I will however state the game runs very well on my intel card, but I also have 16gb of ram to make up for it.
