All Class Traits also available in a single image through the following links:

When first writing this guide, that information wasn't available through the game's menu or deckbuilder (outside of a run), but it's pretty useful when deckbuilding. It's been added since then by the devs in the deckbuilder.

So this guide can serve as a quick reference to the 9 traits of each class (3x Level 1 Trait + 3x Level 2 Trait + 3x Level 3 Trait):

Those class traits can be unlocked by levelling up each class, here's the progression:
  • 1st Level 1/2/3 Trait (1st column from top to bottom): unlocked right at the start
  • 2nd Level 1 Trait (top of 2nd column): unlocked at Class Level 3
  • 2nd Level 2 Trait (center of 2nd column): unlocked at Class Level 6
  • 2nd Level 3 Trait (bottom of 2nd column): unlocked at Class Level 9
  • 3rd Level 1 Trait (top of 3rd column): unlocked at Class Level 15
  • 3rd Level 2 Trait (center of 3rd column): unlocked at Class Level 18
  • 3rd Level 3 Trait (bottom of 3rd column): unlocked at Class Level 21

@Kang It really isn't intuitive, you need to click+drag and hold the top card of the deck you want to check. Also mentioned in this thread here:

@TARTrazine Thanks again, just corrected it. I unlocked those traits so long ago I forgot that the first set is unlocked right at the start!

No @griby you're confused by the deck of upgrades on the level-up screen. Each class starts with its first level 1/2/3 traits unlocked at level zero (so whatever level a character is you should find level+3 cards in his upgrade deck), with the other two level 1 traits unlocked at level 3 and 15, the level 2 traits at 6 and 18, and the level 3s at 9 and 21.

@TARTrazine My bad, thanks for clarifying. In that case if I'm not mistaken, you unlock the 1st column of each class from top to bottom after using 1, 2 and 3 vials; the 2nd column after 6, 9 and 12 vials; and finally the 3rd column after 18, 21 and 24 vials.

No @griby not whether the trait's level 1/2/3 I mean how many vials you need to spend leveling up that character to get access to his second and third trait at each level.

@TARTrazine That's right, the info is now available directly in game which is even better! As for the Trait level requirement if that's what you're referring to, it's written on the card.

Could you add the level unlock requirements for them please? And FYI Insinto you can see the character's traits in the deck editing menu by clicking the name of the class on the card back at the top-right. (And yes, that is a stupid place to hide the traits).

Thank you so much for this, I'm always trying to remember what the traits do while I am deck building and I have this guide open all the time.
