Turns out you actually have to walk close to those spots before the towers can detect them. At least that’s what solved it for me. I had 199/200 Tsukumo for days and my towers were covering the whole map. While chasing a kemono, I opened the map to teleport and suddenly saw the last exclamation mark right next to me fully inside the tower’s range. That’s when I realized the towers don’t reveal secrets unless you’ve been near them beforehand.
Also, I finally beat the last boss today. I’ll say it again: this game is amazing. It’s tragic how unfair Wild Hearts’ fate was. I keep imagining how great it could’ve been if it had succeeded like Monster Hunter, or gotten an Iceborne-style expansion bringing back Toga Hime. I still wear her ribbon.
Loved every minute of it.
Oh! one more thing... I have put all my 4 towers in a level in a way that their search field would cover the whole area, but yet, it does not show to me the last pseudo palico location. I am stuck at 49/50 in the third area. have you heard about such issue before?
