Farine Five Roses Flour Mill

The Farine Five Roses Flour mill was built in the 1940's in Montreal, initially owned by the lake of the woods milling company, it was purchased in 1954 by Ogilvie Flour Mills.

Originally the sign read ''Farine Five Roses Flour'' but the word Flour was taken down from the sign in 1977 because of Quebec's legislation establishing french as the primary language in public communication during The Quiet Revolution.

The Sign lights up at night and uses the same font as the real thing, which i painstakingly recreated by hand since no typeface like it exists.
