Also, I feel like the bad ending is the better ending. That one uppercut my gut and left me in pieces. The "good" ending was fine too, but the sacrifice and tragedy just made the "bad" ending more poetic.

It's crazy what you can do when you don't pander to corporate suits who pander to a loud minority that doesn't read, doesn't watch older movies, and especially doesn't play video games. I don't think there's a more believable cast of characters in any modern game, and this story is as simple as it is deep. I beat this game on a cheap TV via Google Stadia (remember Stadia? They gave you this game for free if you pre-ordered it like me, an idiot who thought Google wouldn't ruin it) and it felt as surreal then as it did on Steam. I was talking about this game for weeks after. What a game, what a video to capture what the game is all about.

impossible to not be sobbing, its really rare to cry in a shooter game
