While it's possible to get this achievement with a variety of starting clans, the best option for beginners is the Enchanted.

The main drawback to the Enchanted is their relatively high delay. Since we're only ever going to be running two minions, delay is a non-factor in our run. Ideally, though, you will cut down on delay by using gems.

By choosing Enchanted, you'll start with a Swampy and Shroomy minion. You'll find that Shroomy minions are relatively common in the store, so look to upgrade him as soon as possible to survive early runs.


After that, you'll want to keep an eye out for 3-star minions like Beary, Enty, and the like.


REMEMBER: If you buy a Beary or Enty minion, you have to Melt one of your previous minions and replace them in the lineup. DO NOT start a run with three minions or you will lose the achievement.




TL;DR: Upgrade starter minions if possible, but transition to 3-star minions ASAP (and remember to delete your old minions when replacing.)

This section is self-explanatory. You want to prioritize gems over coins since you aren't going to be buying many minions (other than the 3-star)

Once your sockets are full, however, you'll want to prioritize coins again, on the off-chance that better gems come along.

While almost all of the gems are useful, you're looking for speed and health primarily.

Gems ranked in order of usefulness:

• Diamond
  
• Onyx
  
• Rubies
  
• Citrine
  
• Sapphire

You should not bother with Emeralds or Amethyst as their drawbacks are too significant when using a two minion party.

• 1. Use the early levels to gain as many coins and treasure chests as possible. When picking up treasure chests, prioritize gems (especially those that give health and speed), but remember to gather enough coins to afford 3-star minions.
  
  
• 2. After you have swapped out your starter minions for 3-star alternatives, you want to work on getting the best possible gems for them.
  
  
• 3. At the lower levels, once you have upgraded your minions as much as possible, you want to take the safest and shortest possible route to keys. At lower levels, ignore everything except keys. You want to be able to grab two keys and get out on every single wave.

Remember: you only have two minions, you are not going to survive the later waves. You need to collect keys immediately and descend as quickly as possible.
