What does this mod do?

This mod switches the ownership of player & AI empires in a random sequence.
It means only the player will play another empire, AIs will obviously not change.

The entire selection/rotation is randomized, becoming the same empire in the next rotation requires some luck.

Example: The map has together with your empire 10 empires. After x-years you receive control over another random empire (one of the other 9), while your previous one will be controlled by an AI or another player.

Can I change the interval/time of the empire rotation?

Yes, at the start of the game there will be a menu to change the amount of years.
Possible settings: 5years, 10years, 15years, 20years, 25years, 30years, 35years

What happens if an AI controls my previous empire?

The AI acts different than the player, it will obviously change some stuff.
But thats the fun, to find a surprise when you or another player control this empire again ;P

Does it work in multiplayer?

Yes, but it can have unknown side effects. While testing no issues were found though.

At gamestart, there will be a menu event for the host to turn the mod off/on & change the years (5-35) for each rotation cycle.

IMPORTANT: Always keep at least one AI empire in the game alive, otherwise the mod will stop working. The mod switches to AI empires, because if one player takes control over another player empire = the original owner would die!

No, this mod changes the game version.

Mod compatibility?

CountryRoulette works with 99% of all mods. If any mod changes your "country type", it will not work.

Example: If you become a FallenEmpire, it will to 100% not work in singleplayer and in multiplayer it will ignore your country but switch the ownership of other player empires (if they are a defaut empire).
