Fixing Black Screen For AMD RX 5000/6000 Series Owners

This is for all AMD RX 5000/6000 series owners who are experiencing black screens when loading into the program. Owners of other AMD cards might have the same issues, but it seems to be most common with the RX 5000/6000 series cards. Regardless, this fix should work with all AMD users who are experiencing black screens.

Fixing the black screen

For those of us who own RX 6000 series cards, we have found out that we get black screens.

A simple fix for now is download DXVK ( https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases/tag/v2.0 )

1. download and extract the DXVK files

2. In the x64 folder, copy all 4 files

3. Go to where you installed GamuGuru MAX

4. Paste the 4 files where the "GameGuruMAX.exe" file is.

5. Do the same for the Building Editor & Particle Editor folders (It can be found in the "Tools" folder)

6. (If still having issues) Downgrade to a older version of Adrenaline (I downgraded to 22.5.2)... I don't know if this step is necessary, but i wanted to be safe.
EDIT: Downgrading is not needed. But using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU)[www.guru3d.com] to fresh install your driver might help.

This temporary fix will work until a official patch releases. Enjoy building!

Try reinstalling GameGuru max. The devs said they fixed the issue. This guide is possibly, obsolete now.

Greatings Dev i solve my problem already i make a fix to work with me hehe i rename AMDFIX.ini to NOAMDFIX.ini and delete dx11.dll and dxgi.dll and works again well with my RX 6600 8GB but something wrong because now the app opens and get only now black screen. ???

I got a AMD RX 6600 8GB Card and got a error "Failed to create the graphics device ERROR 80004005" impossible to run the gameguru max fix this please

Those DLLs, let the startup dialog show, but then the game immediately crashes again.

Game constantly crashes when used with AMD Radeon Cards.
These files do not fix the problem.
When are we going to get our monies worth.

well did exactly what was asked, ive been away so this is the first chance ive had to try this fix...
im running
Ryzen 9 55900x
B450 pro vdh max Motherboard
32 GB 3000 mhz ddr4 ram
Amd 6700 XT Graphics card
and all i got was black screen and a lot of stuff on my pc i didnt want?
i feel this is a high priority Bug that should be addressed asap, I buy all add-ons and other features but a waste of time and money if the base game isn't accessible ?
Ive supported GG from FPS to Max with buying content and occasional imput but it just makes me want to look else where..
