This is a guide for those who already have finished the game. Why were you looking in the trash for your voice? Why was Anthony using a revolver in such a random place to crack pots? Only If was crafted with much reason & is frankly not as random as you may think. Here i explain the story told up front while another less important & humorous story was being told.

Introduction:
This guide focuses mostly on WP as it is the main story for the game. If you haven't finished BP yet do not read this guide for it spoils it.

For those of you who have gone through those frustrating hours & have competed the entire game, i salute you & warmly welcome you to this guide for you've very much earned it.

By now im sure you noticed that i am not a fan of spoon feeding the player & having "OBJECTIVE: GET THE KEY" on the top side of the screen when you were just told what to do (perhaps multiple times). I want you to listen, think & and react.

The guide also reveals concepts that never made it into the game.
Black Pawn: The Windmill
We start with the Black Pawn because its got the least of importance & relevance to the story.

After choosing the Black Pawn & being "stabbed" (in reality, he hugged you and since you're high out of your mind it freaked Anthony's nervous system getting him to gasp and faint) you hear Vinny ask if Anthony was ok & wtf was he doing.

The Vinny & Stephano you knew from BP were merely Anthony's drugged interpretations of them where Vinny seemed like a much more vulgar/aggressive person than he usually is & Stephano who has gone from a caring/average/father who's friends with Vinny to his little "yes master" companion.

Windmill's events only dwell on this with meaningless COD action sequences, when you die for a second Anthony who was scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ wishes he took the white pawn which is why he sees a chess board full of only white pawns.

Anthony spawns, swims to the top & tries to escape Vinny & Stephano. Him becoming aware of being drugged doesn't help him very much, so Anthony focuses on not freaking out while the darkness tries to consume him as he hides from Vinny & Stephano let alone being aware that most of BP isn't even real. Anything that that seems fantastical isn't, and anything nitty/griddy or just realistic, is.

At the end you freak out but can still see a little bit of the house you fall into right before you trip off the edge of a cliff.
Black Pawn: House/Basement
Anthony wakes in Stephano's House which is an altered version of his "work area near the country side" mentioned by Sam in WP, what Stephano actually works as is of no importance, but surely nothing as corrupted as this.

The House is inspired by Absurdist Fiction with a quote from a playwright who's associated with the Theatre of the Absurd, Samuel Beckett. Additionally to rub things in you challenge Einstein against how insanity is achieved through repetition expecting different results when every single one of you have proved it wrong & progressed with the story. (We all love Einstein but the thought of something being absolute triggers me)

You hear Stephano rant to vinny about this "Theatre of the Damned life style" when Anthony hides in the closet. My bad, i didn't have the script at the time i recorded him & thought Absurd = Damned.

There are 2 gems in that level, Intelligence which represents an introvert that is still left at bay with cogs hidden in the back as it barely left the beginning & Ignorance which represents an extrovert thats gone too far in, almost at the final cog yet stuck & helpless. When Anthony grabbed them both & restored power to the area it revealed a purple gem named Balance & a note that said "Intelligence will leave you at bay, Ignorance will lead you astray, Mix em together, you'll find a way."

Anthony uses this gem to get out of BP. The baddie duo mentioned a kid that escaped with the cog console's lever who didn't make it & at least left notes over warning notes for any other kid that gets stuck in there is a spiritual link to one of the drugged kids that were invited to sam's party.
White Pawn: WP & Library Level.
Right after taking the White Pawn you are introduced mercilessly into the mechanics that you are meant to understand, in this case its typing.

When you figure it out Vinny says:
"Thats right sugar hony, and whats hony without Anthony?"
"Ant!-"

Vinny refers to Anthony as an Ant because in the original dialogue the door to escape is much much smaller, the key was replaced with a dark little orb.

Vinny: stare at the radio son I’m gonna do some magical ♥♥♥♥. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boom.

Vinny: Here’s a sneak peak to your next trial.

Ant: What is that?

Vinny: That my gullible friend is how you hide in a bubble with no end.

Ant: it looks evil..

Vinny: Labelling now? Listen carefully Anthony, If you ever feel like escaping you’ll have to hold on to it, Immerse yourself in the calm, calm dark, don’t worry though this one’s harmless, i made sure.

Ant: Why would i use such a thing?

Vinny: Its a pause button ya ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥.

Anthony: Vinny, the door's too small i wont fit.

Vinny: Have you ever seen Alice In Wonderland?

Anthony: ...you're kidding.

Vinny: Just type the first 3 letters of your name!

Typing "ant" would then shrink Anthony to a size that can allow him to pass through the door & into a library that utilizes this new mechanic.

Deep in the library you lose connection with Vinny after you are vaguely told not to emphasise with the inanimate. Anthony notices slightly out of place Garden Gnomes that tend to move closer to him depending on how much attention Anthony has given them. You discover that one of them is alive & is trying to kill you. Here we test the player's ability to constrain their curiosity. Initially you gain a gun & constantly destroy all the wrong gnomes, once you become surrounded vinny comes back to tell you to "quit trying to be a g.i joe & become a g.i Ant"
Typing "giant" will grow Anthony out of the climax and into another level that uses both these mechanics.

The level was too difficult to make with the short time i had so it converted to the park level you all know and love.
White Pawn: Blind
"You impress me, you honestly do! Your thirst for more is unquenchable, you are now a politician, reacting, attempting to understand & change now, with a vision so short you can't even see whats in front of you. Normally a politician would seek voices for their cause, but you Anthony, why are you still looking for yours? Forgive me i almost forgot, you dont even have a voice in this!"

"The worth of your voice is now dressed as a gambling machine, try and find a single gold coin in the darkness & show me what you got mr visionary, show me that you're not all talk."

Those lines are pretty self explanatory, after you gain the light from the first room you are left a note that tells you "This doesn't last very long" slowly hinting that the light you are given isn't very effective.

On the second room is another not that sits on a shy chair facing away from you. The note says "I need this, my ears are too weak" which indicates that relying on visuals by gaining more and more light will blind you from the notes you're supposed to read. Here you must rely on your ears.

White Pawn: Immensity
"-all young men want the thug life, so here you go! here's a mother friggn revolver & a place so elegant it might hopefully be up to your standard, sir class. Now go on, crack pots & enjoy adulthood, man."

Immensity was crafted purely from stereotypes most teen millennials convey.
Class, Thug life & Drugs.

You'll notice that Anthony slowly comes to liking the buzz he gets from the pots, once he had too much, our clock friend who once admired him asks him if he was blurry his reality, throwing his reality creating skills at nothing. Now seeming more like a caring father than an admirer, it tells Anthony "Perhaps its time to be aware, perhaps its time to wake up."

There are many people i've met with unmatchable talent & skill yet they throw it away on drugs and/or less important things in life. We have incredibly amazing people in this world who will never reveal themselves to the public due to silly conflicts.


The biggest life lesson i've learnt while making this game was finding the worth in the worthless.

i started gyming! i can eat more! No more nausea!
White Pawn: What I Think Of You
Ending Dialogue:
Merely reading this again will have you understand what Vinny is talking about, regardless when ever you see (brackets) thats me commentating it for you guys.

VIN: You see this Anthony? Can you see? This is what I think of you. "Nothing."

ANT: What a surprise Vinny, I can't see a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing, you usually had something for me.

VIN: Yup, We took out the "some" all the way to "none."

ANT: Screw yourself.

VIN: Who hasn't?

VIN: I'm an optimist believe it or not, I still really want you to see. Even tho you cannot anymore, you called me an everlasting bastard when I'm actually ever-longingly forgiving.

ANT: Let me guess, fake hope again?

VIN: So I'll give you this one last chance,

ANT: One last fake hope? (He interrupts)

VIN: an im- take this shot seriously, you wanna die you little ♥♥♥♥? huh? You wanna die right now?!

ANT: ...

VIN: An Impossible challenge to prove to me if you are the definer or the undefined.

(Here Vinny gives a task to Anthony that defines him being a leader or not.)

ANT: What does that even mean.

VIN: You're always asking what? Why don't you try to get in depth Anthony? Why don't you try to ask what if I could be amazing, what if I could be definitive.

(Instead of whining about how impossible a task might seem, ignore the public standard & set a new standard for what is realistic & what is not)

ANT: There is nothing to understand you lunatic!

VIN: You still haven't changed? After all this? Anthony I hate you, you're an antagonist to me and I am one to you but that may not be how Sam or the person behind the screen sees you.

(refers to the user)

ANT: You talk way too much you lifeless ♥♥♥♥.

(this triggers Vinny as he finally decides to explain)

VIN: Lifeless? Life is the parent of quality and quantity, and by far their magnificent love gave birth to the greatest of creations, quality created the human and quantity made a son and a daughter.

( Life created the human, one of life's most amazing creations and it also divided us into 2 genders)

VIN: Now, prove to me in this place that I hate you most, that you can define what is realistic and what is not.

VIN: Show me right here, right now that you can bring pride to your parents quantity and quality all so swiftly to form a solution that would define your magnificent future of escaping or not.

VIN: Rather than giving you a limit to how much time you have left, instead i give you anxiety, hundreds of vases can be your answers or your questions.

(Here the player's effort is divided into Hard Work or Smart Work, mindlessly shoot every single vase until you find the key & the door. Or understand the riddle Vinny tells you)

If you want to be done, little one, grab a gun, shoot the vases and have some fun.
Find a key, find the door, find me, leave and soar.

ANT: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ man, what the ♥♥♥♥ are you talking about-

VIN: -a revolver for a person who keeps making mistakes-

(He could've given him any other gun, but chose to give him the revolver again specifically to further insult him on how he never changes for the better or intends to understand.)

VIN: -the amount of chambers in it will point to where you will find the hour that holds the key.

(A revolver has 6 chambers to fit bullets, if you crack the the ones that seem to form a pattern you'll notice that the pattern is of a clock that points to 6 which is where the key is.)


After that we come to the ridiculously silly conclusion that saved (or sunk) the game.

Clearing up the silly ending:

- Anthony thought he slept with his sister when he didn't because sam says "we didn't, i tried telling you earlier-"

- Sam asks "who's Vincent?" and Vinny responds with "i was always in your head Anthony" people took this for granted but seconds later sam says "Stop it, god father" indicating he was fooling around.

- Stephano is sam's real dad, its mentioned multiple times during the end.

- Anthony calls him an illegal drug dealer and to that Vinny says "I'm just an angel investor, who happens to look like one attractive doctor."

- Vinny sliped a few of his drugs at sam's party because there were douches that were annoying her & he wanted to test a few of his experimental drugs, win/win situation.

- Anthony, being overwhelmed, gives up caring and jumps out of the window to get to class, in similar escape-the-room-type games everyone just rants about "why can't you just jump out the window" here i please the thought.

i've added comedy to the game incase people don't get the actual message to keep the players entertained which has barely been done in other walking simulators.

Even though the person we control is Anthony, is he really the game's protagonist or is it Vinny? Or perhaps there isn't one nor an Antagonist, what if Anthony was just a sub character that barely has any relevance to the actual story of the game that was never told? I leave this open for the players to think about, just like a book, the characters, story & message are all defined by you.

I had a lot of fun with this game. Took me a few times to get everything, but I'm happy to say I did. I feel I understood the story well, but after reading this, I'm thinking you may just be making stuff up to cover your ass for having crappy plot.

End game and Park were the best, Park was pretty and even when I beat End game i still did what any good zelda fan does.
