This is the first thing you see when you start Cat or Bread?. Clicking the arrow in the middle of the screen will take you to the game selection, and clicking the small cat in the bottom right corner will take you to the hat shop. I don't know what any of the words mean because I don't speak Russian.

When you click the middle arrow, it will take you to a screen like this one:
These screens contain very meaningful abstract art accompanied by cryptic messages explaining the Cat or Bread? lore. Click the arrow at the top right to go to the game selection.

Each button takes you to a different game. That's right, Cat or Bread? is actually three games in one.

The first of the three games looks like this:
The goal of the game is to click every cat and proceed to the next screen. However, the cats look quite similar to bread, so it's easy to mess up. There's a timer on the right side which runs out pretty quickly. Clicking cats gives you 10 points and adds time to the timer, while clicking breads removes time from the timer.


This is the second game:
There are two words in each bottom corner. A meter at the top decreases over time. Clicking the word on the left gives you 1 point and extends the meter slightly. Clicking the word on the right gives you 10 points, but decreases the meter. Playing this game is a great way to get carpal tunnel syndrome.


And finally, the third game:
This one is tricky right from the start. Instead of your mouse, you have to use the arrow keys. In this game, you have to move your cat (the one wearing a hat) to the other cat. Very romantic.

Clicking the cat in the bottom right corner of the main menu screen brings you to the hat shop.
All of the points you accumulate by playing the games can be used to unlock new hats for your cat. The arrows on the left or right change the hat you have selected.
There are two numbers at the top of the screen: The number at the top shows how many points you currently have, and the number right below that shows how many points you need to buy a hat.
Clicking the small cat in the center of the screen brings you back to the main menu with the hat you had selected.
If you don't have enough points for the hat selected, the small cat won't be there. Broke b!tch.

Unfortunately, this game doesn't have any achievements. Instead, I torture myself by trying to get enough points for the most expensive hat.
The ninth and final hat costs 228,000 points. I'm going to go over the best strategy to get points efficiently.

I did some tests to see which game can earn you points most efficiently. I set a timer for 2 minutes and played each game the best I could. Here are the results:

• Playing Game #1 for 2 minutes: 1780 points
  
• Playing Game #2 for 2 minutes: 1893 points
  
• Playing Game #3 for 2 minutes: 790 points

From these results, it looks like Game #2 is the best for getting points quickly, with Game #1 being almost as good. Game #3 is bad because of how slow it is.

However, there's a way to get points even faster.
Game #2 is still the best, but there's a better strategy for playing it.
Instead of keeping the timer up for as long as you can by clicking the word on the left, only click the word on the right. Doing this quickly should yield 40 points each run.
Using this strategy and playing repeatedly for 2 minutes like in the other tests, I got 3270 points, a significantly higher amount than you would get by playing normally. So if you want to get points as quickly as possible, use this strategy.
