go to options, controls and search "steering (axis/mouse)"

click the plus on steering (axis/mouse) in vehicle and move your mouse side to side
make sure it only has x axis not y axis

after that click apply and youre done
this allows for finer control over your car and also allows you to steer faster, and ever since i did this i havent been able to play a game with vehicles that doesnt have mouse steering
also one more thing use w for throttle and s for brake it makes life a lot easier
