Beschreibung
Re 482 SBB Cargo
Bombardier TRAXX is a modular product platform of mainline diesel-electric and electric locomotives produced by Bombardier Transportation, which was built in both freight and passenger variants. The first version was a dual-voltage AC locomotive built for German railways from the year 2000. Later types included DC versions, as well as quadruple-voltage machines, able to operate on most European electrification schemes: 1.5/3.0 kV DC and 15/25 kV AC.

Re 482/484 is custom made for SBB Cargo, and it is capable to operate in Germany, Austria and of course Switzerland.

Locomotive is made part of TRAXX2 project, completed around last December (TRAXX2 dostos are already on Workshop).

Trailers are made by phresh, which is a combination of ore, oil and mixed cargo.

  • AUTO-REVERSE: Locomotives change direction based on direction of travel.
  • Additive Shader: Line boards, headlights and light glass use Additive Shader.
  • TRAILER VARIATIONS: Trailers vary based on cargo type carried by the train.
  • Custom LOD
  • Detailed roof, windows and undercarriage.
  • High accuracy mesh topology, 100% scaled.

Workshop stations and above.

Recommended Mods
Trailer Variation Loader, to activate cargo based trailer visual changes,
Additive Shader, for glass headlight covers. Alternatively you can use other AS mods made by aubergine.

By the way I think it is a nice idea to release new cargo engines for creators as a three version engine pack: cargo, passenger an prop. I made that with one engine I once have released in the workshop (by using one of presh´s ES64F1 with a new skin), and users liked that.

But if I only speak of myself, the point of interest is only the engine, so no need for importing the cargo trailers as dummys.
And by the way that wouldn´t be nessesary anyway, you could make the same train with these trailers by importing only the engine as a passenger and add the cargo trailers as usual for letting the train run as a passenger train. This way I made myself about a hundred trains in the last years (but of course you will not have any TrailerVariation Loader effect with these trains).

With this Traxx 2 SBB engine working as a passenger I will then make me some nice trains with phresh´s great cargo trailers and let them run on passenger train lines.

I'll see what can be done but i'll have to import cargo trailers as dummy as well, so it'll take a while

A passenger (dummy) version of this engine would be very welcome, same challenge as with the RENFE, dump and import back the *.fbx as a passenger leads to a workshop crash, maybe related to submeshes 1+2.
