General tips for getting to endless mode
By Matanzas
My goal is to help new or old players that wish to get further into this game. I have reach level 42 and hope to get more players further along with unlocking dice and pushing their limits with their runs.

Getting to endless mode
After you initial meeting with the Evil Frog ( where you get OTK) you will have the opportunity to fight him for real the 2nd time.

I suggest building your dice pool around this battle starting after round 15. In my experience, it is always beneficial to grab extra 3 HP instead of a new dice. There a few random event that allow you discard dice or transform dice so I do not worry about discarding or adding dice until past level 15.

For my Dice pool, I try to keep 2 attack, one block, one boost, and one heal. I can often quickly kill the first 15 level this way and finish with full health. I use boost and block if I can not kill in round one and if I am unlucky with not getting block then I can use my heal with boost to recover all my missing HP.

My general tactic for the early rounds is to try to finish with full HP by stacking armor early. Most foes only hit for 1,2, or 3 damage so you can prevent that damage easily. When the last enemy is low HP then you can often kill and do healing with the one glass heal dice. You turn is resolved first so you will do damage and heal before the enemy start their turn. Do pay attention if the enemy has armor and make sure you deal enough damage to kill or have enough armor to take a hit before using your only heal.

Some foes you can kill in the first round while still at full HP but you do not want to take any HP damage greater than 3 until you have additional heal die, especially if you have them without the glass property. As you get better block dice, you can sometimes "waste" the glass heal dice while at full HP to enable better draws since you might not need to heal at all. This will allow you to finish faster by drawing the dice you need instead of wasting your bench.

I recommend to make most of your dice hollow dice ( the perk to allow your dice to not use stamina) and do not get any heavy dice until you defeat the Evil frog. Heavy dice take up room on your board and since Evil Frog goes first there will be times there you have no space for your own dice. Often I do this by either random event or once I am past level 15, I might grab some dice which are better quality and I always have the option of skipping a bad draw.

The ideal 5 dice you have on your bench would be at least 2 hollow dice so you can play all 5 dice. I recommend to keep your collection of dice under 6. If you have 5 dice or less then you will always draw those dice unless one has the glass property. Hollow dice are slightly weaker ( have less face value) but it worth being able to play more dice each turn.

If you are able to unlock the Grow dice then that is the best perk to have since each use will increase the value by one. Meaning that if you keep your collection low and can play the dice each round for 5 rounds then it does another 5 damage/block/heal on top of it's face value.

After you beat the Evil frog you unlock endless mode. I suggest that you get mostly dice with the grow property and at least one dice that heal without the glass property. you can often turtle a single enemy to fully heal yourself before ending the battle. You will need to be at full HP and have a large HP pool to survive the later battles.

Extra Tips
I advise against Heavy dice early on since it make your battle with Evil frog harder. While it is nice to have a free dice on the board, it is diminishing returns. Hollow dice are free dice to play and would on average be stronger.

I always want to try to have my bench full ( 5 dice) and nothing left in the bag. Having heavy dice will remove the dice from your bag and you will not get them back until a turn after they leave the board which make them less useful.

Grow dice get better the most you play so you always want to play them even if not beneficial at the moment. in my later level it not uncommon to have dice with 10+ on them.

I try to focus fire on the weakest enemy. The only exception is the enemy that copy you, you want to take him out since it is a race to kill and you can not have the enemy giving armor and heal to everyone each round.

I am not that much of a fan of the terrain dice. it help the Evil frog more than you during that battle and almost any other dice drawn would be more immediate effect and stronger effect.

There some key word dice that have superior face values so i would try to replace for those if possible. It is easy to level up dice but it mostly luck to get the right keywords or one of the special name dice.

There a few extra dice to unlock in Endless mode, I unlock 1 and saw another but those battle are tough to win. My suggestion is to try to be aggressive to kill an enemy but pay attention to your health total. when it is 3v1 then they will deal more damage than you can block and recover so focus on attacks.

I rarely take full heals, Unless I am critically low on HP, I will try to recover in the next battle. I will discard dice if I notice that one is useless for me ( I have other dice that are more valuable to pull). For me, the ideal bag will have 5 dices with gold, hollow, and grow. 2 attack, one block, one boost, and one heal. in theory you could have 3 dice without the hollow property but it is a small difference in later matches and running out of stamina is terrible if you happen to add just one too many non-hollow dice.

Level 51+ tips and observation
I manage to get lucky and get to level 51.

As you can see I got several grow dices and favor attack dices.

I think the difficulty spikes when you are unable to kill an enemy in the first or second turn.

Logically speaking, the highest face value is 6 so when facing foes with 19+ HP you need at least 3 attack dices and a boost to kill. I have not recorded when the enemy start doing 4-5 damage per "weak" attack but I was easily losing 10-15 HP per enemy per round. My large HP pool gave me time to kill 2 of the 3 enemies in order to outpace them with my grow dice to hopefully fully recover HP before the end of the match.

I lucked out that maybe 2-3 rounds at the end was with the healing moth which are easy to deal with and recover HP.

Mirror dice is very helpful for either finish off a foe by doubling my attack grow dice or quickly recovering HP.

I think if I was able to grow my health pool to above 100 and maybe take out of the grow block dice for better consistent attack die then I could had push a little farther.

I do not know if the eternal grow dice or heavy grow dice is better. Ideally, you will have only 4 grow dice and a mirror to roll each turn and the other dice on the board either as heavy or eternal.

I got the boost/heal as a reward from the quiz spider event and found that when it was paired with the mirror dice was a decent early round heal ( if it show a 4 face then you can net 20 HP, I think) I do not know if cutting that dice would help or hurt me.

Not sure I saw this in your guide but a few of my observations:

- Finishing a battle at full health, will remove the heal option from the reward pool.
- Instead of a full heal you may now get the option of +3 Max HP.
- This is especially usedul at the end of boss figths, where your guaranteed heal is replaced with the max health upgrade.
