Prerequisites

From gaming mode, install the game and run it at least once
From desktop mode, run the Discover Software Center and install Protontricks and Flatseal

Download the following files :

Download the Reloaded II Mod Loader : Reloaded II Releases Page [github.com]
Take the latest version Release.zip file

Allow Protontricks Launcher to access all user files

Launch Flatseal, select Protontricks and activate the "All user files" option

Install Dependencies

Open the the first dependency installer you downloaded with Protontricks Launcher

On the next window, select the Persona 3 Portable Wine Prefix

Follow the installation steps for the dependencies

Do this for each of the 4 files you downloaded

Extract and run Reloaded II

Extract the release.zip file from Reloaded II in any folder
You should get a directory structure similar to this one :

Do a right click on Reloaded-II.exe and run it with Protontricks Launcher using the Persona 3 Portable wine prefix (Like you did for the dependencies)

Reloaded II shoud start after the first launch tutorial

Add Persona 3 Portable to Reloaded II

Click on the + button on Reloaded to add an application
Browse to the game install folder and select P3P.exe

If you installed it on the default location, it should be in the folder :
My Computer / Z: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/commom/P3P/P3P.exe

If you can't see your ".local" folder while inside "deck", just type .local in the textbox at the bottom and press Enter

The game should appear on the left side of Reloaded

You can use the top-left button to install mods and activate them on the game page

When done, click on the Edit Application link on the game page
Unroll the "Advanced Tools & Options", click Deploy ASI Loaded and confirm

You can now close Reloaded

Start with mods from Gaming Mode

Still in Desktop Mode, start Steam and find Persona 3
Right click on it and click on Properties

On the properties, set the launch options to :

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command%

You can now go back to gaming mode and start Persona 3

I've got the same problem as others. when I try to run reloaded 2, a window pops up telling me to install microsoft netcore app version 8.0.0 (x64). it also has a prompt to download it, but clicking that doesn't work. I tried downloading it from the website, running it through wine, protontricks, all proton versions, etc in both desktop and game mode but I couldn't get it to work. is there any solution to this? I rly want to get kotone cutscene project working on my deck 🙏

I cannot get this to work. It keeps saying I need to download more dependencies. This is such a fucking hassle to work with.

Reloaded just closes a few seconds after launching.

I was able to get this working in Gaming Mode!
I had to uninstall everything and reinstall the game, dependencies, reloaded, mods etc. But this time it worked. Hope this helps someone else.

That's a strange issue
Are you sure you didn't forget the Deploy ASI Loader step ?
If you didn't, you can try to get the Reloaded launcher in a state where your game works with mods (By updated the P3P location) and retry to deploy the ASI Loader

However the mods only run if I launch the game via Reloaded. It's just vanilla if I run it in gaming mode. I have this in the general section WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8=n,b" %command% and I have the game set to run in Proton Experimental.
Any suggestion? I hate to run the game from the desktop.

Here are some symptoms I'm seeing as well.
The only way I can get the mods to work when launched from Reloaded is if I do Edit Application>and Update the P3P.exe location.
If I don't the CMD line shows the last step before crashing is Found Window, Hooking WndProc.

And if I do get P3P to run with mods vis Reloaded and close the game, it will still show it's running in Steam. I have to restart the deck or kill steam, Stopping the game doesn't work.

I also tried Proton-7.3-GE-1 and GE-Proton7-49 with now luck.

The game is installed on the decks internal storage.
