This guide is about how to complete the quest 'Hide N' Seek' located in the Eyre, AKA the druid village behind the magical gate in the forest. The goal is literally to find 5 hiding children. You can pick it up from Bristlecone on the nursery platform.

I spent waaayyy too long looking for these brats. It become a little joke among my group of friends when I dragged my ass back to the Eyre because there was literally nothing else for me to do but look for the demon child. The reward wasn't worth my pain and suffering, it is not worth your pain and suffering either.

I scourged the internet looking for SOMETHING to help me but I couldn't find anything, not even a discussion where someone asked the question. So I decided to make a guide for anyone that might be having as hard of a time as I was.

If you're thinking 'this is dumb, I had such an easy time with this. Why bother making a whole guide for it' then I envy you. Don't judge me and anyone that needs this harshly; everyone that has ever played an adventure game knows the feeling of wanting to scream when the solution to the problem you've spent 20 minutes was on so blindly obvious that you're questioning your sight, intelligence or maybe both.

Maybe you want to find the kids on your own. But you're getting frustrated and need a little help before you burn the Eyre to the ground to flush them out of hiding.

Tip #1

This little circle they give you on the map to 'help?'


It's a filthy liar. The WHOLE Eyre, from the magic gate to the entrance of Sendu's Grove is fair game.

Tip #2

None of the children are hiding in the tree houses or on tree platforms.

Tip #3

This tip concerns a specific child so if you don't want to spoil that then you're done here. For everyone else, the tip is beyond the spoiler thing

There is only ONE child in a ground building.

This is the section for if you've given up all hope and just want this thing over. I feel you, I've been there. The glasses aren't worth it.

Directions assume you're on the main road coming FROM the magical gate.

Child #1 Taletha

She's under the root the dancing bard is on. In between 2 gardens on the right side just past the place selling Sweet Dizzy Juice


Child #2- Daucus

He's behind the rocks that make up the wolf den. Left side of the road.


This is why I said the circle was a liar, he's outside of it

Child #3 Kalli

She's behind a bush, in between a weird log lodged into the ground (not the big one) and the inn. Left side of the road.


Child #4 Clementine

Go to the alchemist's area, just past were the last kid but was on the right side. Go around the big rock on the left and she's in a little nook.


Child #5 Lev AKA The Problem Child

THIS little bastard is the one I couldn't find for the life of me, so they get a special name. It's only when my friend helped me did I find them. Why did I have such a hard time finding them? BECAUSE HE DOESN'T FOLLOW THE RULES THE OTHER FOUR DID!


He's inside the last house of the right on it's second story. Go up the ladder and turn right. Resist the urge to stab him. Stabbing children is frowned upon.

Congrats on finding all the hellspawn!

Now turn in the quest and leave the Eyre before the urges get too strong and you burn everything and/or murder everyone. Razing an entire village to the ground is also frowned upon.
