sometimes when i get the urge to create a submarine i come to this one and start editing the decor / design in an attempt to improve it. never been very good at creating a design for a submarine shell that i am happy with so it's helpful to instead have a base to mess around with in the editor

anways here is my wall of text

list of changes:

• switched the coilgun to a small chaingun that fires 3x faster than vanilla
  (supercapacitor has had its capacity halved to create some balance)
  
• made the bottom crate holder capable of colliding with objects / terrain
  
• added monitor for horizontal and vertical speed to command
  
• added monitor for reactor output and fuel rod condition to reactor
  
• sub is now tier 2 and capable of taking further upgrades
  
• adjusted price to reflect these changes (5250 mks)
  
  decor:
  • complete rework of engine and command room
    (command room is also now smaller)
    
  • changed reactor position and size
    
  • crate holder / diving lockers now look seamless with the wall
    
  • added many wires to electrical, adjusted junction boxes
    
  • put more boxes everywhere
    
  • edited the position of many wires
    
  • added air detectors
    (they serve no actual function)
    
  • put pipes in ballast and vent ducts everywhere else
    
  • too many small ocd adjustments
  
  QOL
  • edited the hull bounding box to better fit the shape of the sub
    
  • switch the small pumps to auto-bilge pumps so that they no longer constantly run
    
  • changed shape of the back of the sub and moved engine up to make it easier to access
    
  • moved the secure cab out of the electrical compartment
    
  • wired the diving suit lockers / oxygen tank holders so that they refill oxygen
    
  • changed tags on junction boxes to show what they power
    
  • moved the docking hatch and ladder so that it lines up with outpost ladders when docked
    
  • moved the upper tail-fin so that it not longer clips through outpost airlocks
    
    added:
    • mobile battery charger to electrical
      
    • diving suit locker to the command room
      
    • a fire extinguisher (fire has been sending me death threats pray for me)
      
    • more emergency lights, primarily to electrical and command
      
    • reactor cabinet for holding rods
      
    • compartment for the captains belongings
      
    • small pump to the engine room
      
    • weapon holder to amidships
      
    • switch that toggles batteries to command
      
    • reactor shutdown button
