Install Instructions
  • install Alice Madness Returns
  • Launch the game once then close it
  • Download the Alice Madness Returns Fix
    ⬇️Download⬇️[pixeldrain.com]
  • Right click on Alice Madness Returns in your steam game library
  • Hover over "manage" then click "browse local files"
  • Open the "Binaries" folder
  • Open the "Win32" folder
  • Delete the "PhysXcore.dll"
  • Open the "Core" folder
  • Delete "EACoreServer.exe"
  • Open the archive
  • Extract the "steamapps" folder to your steam install folder and replace all files when prompted.
  • Extract the "My Games" folder to your "My Documents" folder and replace all files when prompted.
  • Launch the game and Enjoy!

Tested in 1280x720, 1920x1080, 2560x1440, 3840x2160, all files provided optimized for 1920x1080.

It was hosted on archive.org but after they had issues with availability and went down for so long I moved the files to pixeldrain

Did you change the host for the Fix? If i remember it was hosted in your Google Drive. I can't access the site actually.

Some have stated that PhysXcore.dll is the issue, I'm guessing it has to do with Nvidia vs AMD GPUs? I know it worked for me but I am using a Nvidia GPU that installs a new physx version via driver update. Try keeping or restoring PhysXcore.dll and let me know if that works.
