Overview
From the main menu, press the f10 key 
Click on the audio tab in settings 
Scroll down to voice chat settings

From the main menu, press the f10 key
This opens up the menu on the left side, click the button at the top called settings.
Click on the audio tab in settings
Scroll down to voice chat settings
Click the off button that says off to turn your voice chat off,
make sure to click f12 to save the setting!
