You said this mod is discontinued, is there anything similar I'm really looking for a mod that will introduce something like private police

IRL both private and public suck, government funding of private, where say docs are insentavised to do EVERYTHING to save or help you, that works. NHS will literally watch you die call you a useless time waster and not even help.

I bring this up because people don't read and would rather be lazy. They'd rather just believe what the TV tells them what they should think. I would love a game (or mod, in this case) that actually paints PMSCs as they actually are rather then the demon spawns the public are told to think that they are.

If you think this is a good idea, a good start on researching this topic would be the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross)'s website. They discuss the humanitarian side of the PMSC and what role they play.

In terms of your private defense, be sure to differentiate between a PSC (Private Security Company) and a PMC (Private Military Company). When you are talking about them both in the same statement, the official acronym is "PMSC". These are NOT mercenaries, as the public loves to call them. They are bound by international regulations and laws (Ex. The Montreux Document) and don't get paid millions of dollars to rape and kill little Timmy and his mother.

In reality, PMSCs get paid by nation states to fill gaps or take on tasks that said states rather outsource then have soldiers do. Examples of this could be convoy protection, gate guard, resource protection, VIP protection, surveillance, etc. They can be used as an SF group, if need be (deniable ops is an actual service that is provided by some bigger and wealthier PMCs). However, this is often rare. You'll almost always find contractors in defensive, or otherwise non-combatant, positions.
