Music for the End of the World [True Music]

TRUE MUSIC: TRANSCENDANT

True Music was there for some of my most prized PZ memories. As you'll surely soon learn, I love True Music, and I wanted to make that experience even better for others. More than just the largest expansion ever made, with multiple expansion packs on top of that, Music for the End of the World also introduces a massive slate of new features and quality of life changes that will improve your music-hoarding experience!

★ ALL THE MUSIC YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED.
First off, TCCacheMP, a mod originally listed as required for True Music, is outdated for B42. Its only purpose was to host True Music's 'default' songs. This mod restores TCCacheMP's tracklist and improves it, fixing typos and introducing vinyl or cassette versions to songs without them. If you're used to True Music having 'default songs' that no longer appear, this mod restores them.

On top of this, the mod is split into three packs:
- 725 lore-friendly tracks from the year 1993 or before.
- 250 more tracks in the 'Extended' expansion which are mostly from between the years of 1994 and 2004.
- 25 tracks in the Silent Hill expansion, which adds a collection of songs from across the series... and some extremely rare extras from another 2008 horror game that drop from zombies (though this can be toggled).

★ RADIO.
Preset, multiplayer-compatible GTA-style music radio with text-based chatty hosts. For now, our hosts only have simple intermissions, but we will soon release a huge wave of content for them. By default, all of the music in this pack and any expansions to it are organized into nine stations.

Anyone can make their own radio station or edit the existing ones via our system, whether you're a server host, a True Music modder, or an end user with no experience in code. Click here for a tutorial!

★ THE MUSICAL DEAD.
Another user-expandable system introduced by this mod is musical zombies. That's right, you can now encounter zombies emitting music, still looping their favorite song from a dying boombox!

Without the mods in this collection, there is only a single musical zombie. However, Music for the End has ten 'Special Guests' that can spawn if the mods in that collection are enabled.

★ MUSIC MANAGEMENT.
Normally, if you install a lot of True Music, the loot pool will be overwhelmed—but Music for the End introduces a new loot system that can manage any other True Music mod you have installed, keeping drop rates consistent no matter how much music you have! It also removes exact duplicates in cases of mod overlap, adds multiple new drop locations such as parcels, and has an option to allow zombies to drop cassettes too!

You can also find caches now: lootboxes full of random music items! These boxes, and the music-finding traits, are compatible with other True Music mods through our loot management system!

★ TRAITS.
Music for the End introduces five new traits, three of which are mutually exclusive. These traits help you find more music in various ways! Find more music in containers, scavenge the dead for cassettes, get more rare finds and caches, spawn with music and more!

★ ACCESSORIES.
A suite of new containers and tools to help you organize and get the most out of your music! Things like the Backpack Boombox, a wearable boombox that occupies the fannypack slot, Blank Cassettes which can copy songs from the radio or from other cassettes, or the Music Bag which can only hold music and music paraphernalia but can handle your whole collection!

★ QUALITY OF LIFE.
Music for the End introduces a whole suite of new mod and sandbox options that allow you to customize your experience in many ways! It also introduces a few other small changes, perhaps the most fun of which are tintable Boomboxes and Vinyl Players! Bump tunes in your tone!

'OP', or Core, contains all of the code for the radio, loot system and other unique features. The only music it hosts are the Special Guest tracks which can be disabled.
