Simplified Battle Controls
Personally I use the Classic battle layout so I'm not as familiar with the controls for the Simplified layout.
I believe you can customise the Simplified controls under the Abilities section of the Party menu but I am not certain.

Feel free to comment if you have any information for these.

simplified controls are I, J, K, and L. You press down right and up to use abilities for your large, medium, and small mirages respectively, and left for combination abilities.
You can customize which mirage abilities are used with which buttons through the ability section, but you can't change the buttons themselves.
