Open Control Panel

1. Press Windows Key

2. Type "control panel"

3. Press [enter]

Create a Custom Power Plan

1. Click on "Hardware and Sound"

2. Click on "Power Options"

3. Click on "Create a Power Plan" on the left side of the window.

4. Choose the "High preformance" option. Name the plan whatever you want.

These settings don't really matter but I recommend leaving them on "never".
5. Click "Create"

Configure the Power Plan Settings

1. Click "Change plan settings" on the plan you just created. Then click on "Change advanced power settings"

2. Scroll down until you find "Processor power management", click to expand it. Then expand "Maximum processor state" which should read "Setting: 100%".

3. Set the setting to 70% or 80%. 90% was enough for me but I have a 280mm AIO. If you need to go lower you can but I have not tested it.

4. Click "Apply" then "Ok".

MAKE SURE TO DISABLE THE POWER PLAN AFTER YOU RUN YOUR BENCHMARK

strange, not able to get it even when setting max.processor state to 20%. (min.state set to 10%).
maybe some difference in behavior with modern CPUs with efficiency and performance cores?

there are 55-60 degree peaks on max threads and 8 threads sections on i7-12700K processor.

Set my CPU power to 60% and turned up all my fans to the max. A bit overkill, but got it in one try.

OR you could go into ur bios and just set ur max cpu temp to 54 and then run 1 test and be done

I finally got this one. I disabled the turbo and hyperthreading settings in the BIOS. Only two left for me to get, now.

Working on this one. It keeps telling me that Hardware Monitoring is disabled and not giving me a temp.

Worked after 4 runs, previous 3 runs it was well below 55c but just didn't pop the achievement. Worked on the 4th attempt though. Thanks!

Thanks mate, i cant believe how wasted time i used to attempt underclocking my PC only for this to do it on first attempt. had to go to 10% Usage myself tho and got RYUJIN 360, AIO myself.
