Intro and Starting Classic
Welcome to My small short guide on the classic version of CastleMinerZ. For Starter to launch classic for the game you must go Setting>Properties>Betas then select classic as shown below. Now before we continue further I will note this is a basics guide, also alot of things from classic is similar to the "newer" version of CMZ with a few exceptions that will be named with that enjoy the guide.
First Impressions
When first launching classic graphical differences and the menu designs are apparent in an instant, mainly because these all date back to the Xbox360 era but still different.

The game modes are the same besides 2 that did not exist then being Scavenger because Loot Blocks don't exist in classic and thus no spawners either, and exploration Mode is not a thing either.

The Difficulties setting remain the same but the world selection menus are slightly different.
Mechanics
The mechanics for the most part are the same as the standard version of CMZ with a few differences, the classic has no Stamina hotbar which means no double jump or sprinting nor does it have a second hotbar you can swap too. The crafting menu is also different being slower and a long scroll down to the craft recipes, needless to say CMZ classic is a bit harder then the standard version. The in game menus are also different.

In Game: some of the graphics are different which will be elaborated on a little later but here are some first impressions alongside mechanics, but most everything from movement and jumping etc is the same besides the lack of no stamina bar.

Inventory And Crafting: The menus are simplistic and if you notice you only have one hotbar, if you die items (unless playing hardcore) will be saved, you effectively have half the savable items then in the standard version and you'll quickly learn crafting will be and is a bit of a pain.

Here is crafting with more items being very messy as the problem with classics crafting being simplistic, everything is in a drop down menu so if you have multiple crafting materials you'd have to scroll far down to make stuff you want between guns tools and even crates n blocks. To fix this for yourself simply drop very obsolete items for example having gold tier tools means forget holding copper.
Graphics
It is very noticeable of course how all the blocks look different. One of my perosnal favorite things that was in classic CMZ, is how guns actully show their gun type/rank from basic or iron up to bloodstone, ores also have a glossy look same with most other blocks having an odd shine to em of 360 lighting graphics.

Ores for examples of the graphics alongside lava, in which i think the lava in classic sucks as it looks quite horrendous in my opinion compared to the normal version, its even worse in "The Underworld" when you view the huge lava lakes.

The Guns, though i only took one picture for this but it's very noticeable when you craft the guns. it also shows in inventory a bit too which was nice, especially if you had different quality's/ranks/levels of guns in the same storage box it was easy to tell them apart.

Crates or i should say just the crate, you see there is only one kinda crate in Classic CMZ which is the wooden one, in my upmost opinion this is a hugeeeee downgrade compared to the standard versions other crates, as if you were to go to far away zones past "The Floating Islands" zone you would not find trees to cut down for wood to make crates, only way to get wood was to kill mobs in hopes they would drop wood, and you need 10 wood+2 iron to make a crate anyways so this was harsh on endurance runs but it was also still hard in normal survivals too.
Similarities and Unchanged Stuff
First off, no pictures this section, second off this is just some information about things that are the same or similar.

One of the things that's the same is the different zones as you go further from spawn, if you wish to see the zones check out my guide "The Worlds Zones" that i'll link at the end of this guide. Then there are the crafting recipes which are exactly the same besides the difference of only one kinda door and one kinda crate. All movement is the same accept the fact the stamina bar does not exist which means no sprinting or double jumping, so the game is always like endurance mode. I'll name more but i'm sure you''ll find them all out as you go through classic yourself if you choose to dear reader(s).
End and Links
Thanks for reading my short guide on the Classic version of CMZ, if you noticed i did not mention the BETA version and for good reason, i did try the BETA but it was the same as the standard version we have for CMZ so it was pretty pointless to go through, but i must assume when this game was still receiving updates it was used more often to test new or upcoming features and changes. As always i appreciate any help with grammar mistakes and awards as a gift if you deem it as such to give for work and research done.
