In its countryside idyll nestles Honeypole Stables, a quiet and out-of-the-way little place for buyers, sellers, trainers & riders of all ages and abilities. Sure, champion racehorses have been trained here – but it’s the sort of place you can bring the kids for a little canter around our cosy ‘showground’ and have a chat with the staff, get some new gear, or find a fine working horse.

We take in rescues and work extensively with local businesses to find them a new home – or even just provide a friendly visitor on our regular charity events as we take our four-footed friends to visit the disadvantaged and cheer up the orphans and the sick. Nothing brings more joy to our staff than visiting Madam Evadne Flange’s Orphanarium and seeing the little mites’ faces brighten as a gigantic, terrified, and loudly braying horse twice their height is shoved through the main entrance towards them.

But day to day, we run the stables just as we always have. Five generations of horse lovers, and we still use the same ol’ pitchforks.

Nothing much changes here; we work to the rhythms of the horse.
