Metro Station Hub - Anno 2205 style
Inspired by Train Stations CCP and Anno 2205



There has long been a desire to create or adapt buildings from Anno 2205 to Cities: Skylines, but there was no experience in creating assets. After studying the available materials, it turned out to be a very large building 😅

Let's take a look:



Contains 3 build:
  1. Metro Hub - based on Metro Plaza Station from Train Stations CCP;
  2. Sub Build - two Decoration Building based on Park*. They contain props only, nothing more.
*Note: Sub Build does not work as a park, it's Decoration Building!

Used Station Track:
  1. Single 2 way - 2 tracks;
  2. Double 2 way - 3 tracks.
Total - 5 station tracks on 4 platforms and 3 bus stops on surface
Note: Fifth track is short, it is recommended to use vanilla metro train or similar length

P.S: Size building was increased so that the vanilla train would fit on track 5. This preserves functionality of 4 platform without making it decorative. Otherwise, citizens will enter the platform through the walls.
Fixing this would required a big change in 4 platform's geometry. I didn't want to do that

Looks great but as others have said, can't connect to 3rd and 4th track

I'm having the same problem as @Vadicus, it does not allow me to place the station at track 3 and 4 :(

@Vadicus I checked on vanilla stations using the mod advanced stop selection:
1) If you select the start of the route at this station at any platform without pressing the Shift key, it will be automatically replaced with the one that suits the direction of travel according to the settings of the metro station Track;
2) If the route passes through this station without pressing the Shift key, the platform is selected automatically according to the direction of the route;
3) You can select any platform on the track by pressing the Shift key, but the point that allows you to make this choice is shifted to the edge of the beginning of the station path. I'm not sure why this happens, but it works like this. I will try to fix it if possible or add information to the description.

I hope I correctly understood the essence of the problem and the answer will help.

@DenRic Thanks for the reply. I can select a platform but when I try to select a different stop at another station, it does not allow me to place it. Should I be using special metro tracks? I'll keep trying and testing. I know I'm missing something. I've usually worked with tram but want to utilise the new metro assets and systems. Thanks for the help.

@Vadicus asset was developed with the possibility of choosing a platform without using mods. If you use advanced stop selection, you can select the platform without pressing the Shift key
