Note: These steps only need to be performed manually if pressing Configure Game on the server does not work for you.

Plugins:
Go to the folder where you have installed DashPanel and you will find the plugins folder: e.g. SteamApps\common\DashPanel\Server\Plugins

These plugins need to be copied to the following locations:
American Truck Simulator:
American Truck Simulator\bin\win_x64\plugins\DashPanel_TruckSim_x64.dll
American Truck Simulator\bin\win_x86\plugins\DashPanel_TruckSim_x86.dll

Euro Truck Simulator 2:
Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x64\plugins\DashPanel_TruckSim_x64.dll
Euro Truck Simulator 2\bin\win_x86\plugins\DashPanel_TruckSim_x86.dll

Note:
It is easy to miss the 'plugins' folder in the above paths. If this folder does not already exist in your installation you need to create it.

In the relevant bin folder right click and select New->Folder:


Name the folder 'plugins':


Now copy the correct DashPanel plugin to the plugins folder:

In edit mode select the gear widget and press edit.
Go to the second tab.
Check the use gearbox option.
Select Eaton 18 from dropdown list.

I wouldn’t know if DashPanel works with pirate versions of any software. It is only developed and tested with legitimate versions.

please help me, I downloaded the plugin for the ets 2 pirate, but it does not appear in the dashpanel

You can press del to disable the DBus plugin even when loaded. So it is not working. But one dev said, it shows inverted. So looks disabled but is enabled. So anything is fine now.

I’m not sure what you mean. ETS2 will simply load any plugins found in the folder.

Any possibility to enable plugins via a config file? I have the problem, the dbus Plugin is disabled and I want to enable it but mouse pointer is "behind the plugin.

Make sure the game isn’t running when copying the plug-in files.

itsx not letting me copy paste the ATS stuff into the plugin folder

uninstall the game, delete it from programfilesx386 and from c:\users\username appdata in all the 3 folders.
download it again from this link {LINK REMOVED}

This worked for me.
