Т-72Б3 — российский основной боевой танк семейства Т-72. Модификация Т-72Б3 разработана в качестве массовой и экономичной альтернативы основному танку Т-90А до получения Вооружёнными силами Российской Федерации танков нового поколения, Т-14. Представляет собой сравнительно простую и эффективную модернизацию танка Т-72Б, с доведением некоторых параметров до уровня Т-90А или превосходящих как в Т-72Б3 обр. 2016 (УБХ или Т-72Б3М).

The T-72B3 is a Russian main battle tank of the T-72 family. The T-72B3 modification was developed as a mass-produced and economical alternative to the main T-90A tank until a new generation of tanks, the T-14, was received by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. It is a relatively simple and effective modernization of the T-72B tank, with some parameters brought up to the level of the T-90A or exceeding those in the T-72B3 mod. 2016 (UBKh or T-72B3M).
